Have been there several times, always best quality and preparation as well as an interesting plate presentation.

a pretty casual environment, but great eating big wein. the dishes are well prepared, with new offered every month. the wine card has very beautiful German weine, as well as French Italian cuisine. that is a must in mainz

this is fine eating without fuss: fresh ingredients to their best, well prepared and tasty, with a great selection of weeps to accompany their meal. desserts are divine, so they keep a small space for them. cheap restaurants it is not, expect to pay, but it is totally worth it.

I can highly recommend the restaurant existing in mainz for years. what they get is exceptional quality of food, perfectly acclaimed and arranged, pure, fresh and excellent taste and a perfect service. I like the kitchen very much, the quiet atmosphere. And the fact that they always manage my food allergy and an intolerance, so that I will not be left at all on the great taste. in the did the honest way the cook allows them to care for people like me, but also all my friends the same time and we all enjoy excellent dinner. we come back more often. many thanks for the great experience over and over again.

I have been a regular customer of La Gallerie for the past few years since Herr Rubel took over the restaurant. I am a business traveller who has frequented many Michelin stared restaurants over the years and I really cannot understand why La Gallarie has...not been awarded this status. Herr Rubel and his team are extremely passionate about what they do and the menu is changed on a weekly basis and never fails to delight. The quality of the dishes are exceptional and incredibly innovative and the value for money is, in my opinion, second to none. Please Monsieur Michelin pay Herr Rubel a visit and give him the status he deserves!

we ate here at our first night in mainz. the service and eating were both exceptional. the wine list has many local options as well as many French and Italian options. the staff is very well informed about the wine. the courses were very. well done. a small amuse bouche before the meal. the chef takes care of all aspekte of the plate including perfectly cooked vegetables. dessert decisions are amazing. the chef came out to advise us about our choice of wine, suggesting that the wee could be too young to enjoy. we chose the wein anyway and he offered us politely to decant the wein for us. we went a few nights later for just a glass of wine before dinner and the staff was equally friendly and...

My wife I have visited this chef several times at his previous restaurant and twice at La Gallerie. Every time we have been more-than-satisfied. And, as a recovering picky eater, I have been blown away with food that I might never have otherwise tried....Our most recent trip, I handed the menu back to the waitress and asked for the chef to surprise me. I was, and everything was amazing (he even sent me a dessert that wasn't on the menu)! My wife and I always trade a little, and I have tasted food that I would have otherwise turned my nose to.
