"in le bonbon there's a lot of heart blood. the entire team has worked with expertise and fun to prepare us a beautiful evening. that was already going on at the reception, where we were warmly welcomed on our day of high season. it continued at the service, which was very attentive, personally but never intrusive. also at the thema wein we were competently advised. the high point was the eating that the kitchen team (which can be seen through the rich) prepared with high standards, creativity and an admirable rest (which should not mean that we had to wait long). our tellers (fish or chickens) strotzte before handmade perfectly implemented, intense aromen and exciting accents. that was inspiring, surprising, and nevertheless added to a harmonious overall impression. the dessert from mascarpone and edible was a ravaged (in the literal as well as transmitted sense) - that they should be patented. also the bar is an experience. almost 600 bottles the bartender has counted at the last inventory - including over 40 gin varieties alone. the card offers classic and unusual special creations, partly with self-assembled house mixes. and we had the impression that even the barkeepers burn for their job like service and kitchen staff. all of them hang in to offer the guests something special. they have become just from our own self and have given us an unforgettable evening."

we had a nice evening. the staff was very attentive, and eating - we had chosen the menu - was very good. not quite suitable for eating this claim was the loudness in the room: the conversations of the other guests lead to a considerable loudness level. adds the music for my taste too loud. an entertainment about the table was only possible with effort. We come back again on a weekday, maybe it's a little quieter.

I was very spontaneous, quite full there, but the really nice lady who takes care of more about the arriving guests gave me a table in no time. the personal is consistently very friendly, open and professional. all despise, they rarely experience it! my waiter was a blond young man, sort sunnyboy, but something of competent and cunning, he knew everything that was offered on the map, and was also a competent advisor with the weeps. I've eaten a planner I've never had. the kitchen also knows what she does. also great presentation. also my steak was of best quality and perfectly fried. all in a very successful evening. it makes really fun to watch the crew. I was certainly not the last time, e... View menu

we were at the end of 2016 in le bon bon eating. the le bon bon bon stands out wonderfully from the usual restaurant chains in mainz and offers excellent coordinated dishes, the chef has learned his craft and knows how to implement it, especially fish dishes show as soon as the chef can cook or roast it on the spot and here my ordered fish was cooked on the spot. it is in the medium class, but also not in the so-called star gastronomy, but this is in the case of high-quality ingredients that are just fresh from the market and not from the deep-frozen chest also necessary and appropriate. also the service was excellent in the bypass with guests and knowledge of the card, ingredients and bar t...

"we thought it was time that four years ago opened patagonia in the mainzer neustadt to test. the bus and tram connection is excellent, the parking situation is very difficult. there is an outside area at the restaurant, and the dining room is large and clear. because the guests were distributed outside and inside, the reservation about opentable would not have been necessary. so we were allowed to choose a table and were welcomed by the two ladies in the service friendly. we found a rectangle with a view of a large flatscreen, on which a diashow of pictures ran from patagonia, which first triggered television. steaks are offered in all variations, and the selection is quite difficult. we first took three empanadas with different fillings that relatiw quickly came out of the kitchen and taste very good.My wife decided in the main course for a rumpsteak of the even medium rare with grill potatoes and salad. I had previously researched the card in the internet and asked myself what a flap steak was. wikipedia helped and so I knew it was a cut that is very common in patagonia and comes very close to the us sirloin strip. I wanted to try this and ordered it **** in the bloom. I took a foil potato. both supplements were handed with the obligatory sourcream with coriander. the two supplemental salads were fresh, colourful and crisp, with the carrots also liked as a supplement. Even with critical consideration, the performance was in all respects of expectations: the services were extremely friendly and stood also in the meat selection with rat and did the side. the we chose to be perfectly met. confusingly I found the hints in the menu on the recommended per steak. these were all together and especially between medium and well done. that was not comprehensible for me because of the top quality of meat, all in all a very successful evening with a quite reasonable price-performance ratio. we like to come back to patagonia."
