This was by far the best dining experience that I had in Paris. I had the foie gras and ribeye steak, and both were great. My waiter, Chivas, provided excellent service from start to finish.

we were on the terrace which is rather pleasant but the server is the caricature of the Paris server that we no longer want to see: not smiling, room, not friendly. What saves is the caesar salad that is correct.

This was a backup to our backup. Many of our first choices for restaurants were closed for holiday or were booked fully for the evening. After strolling about and not finding anything that looked interesting, we threw in the towel and went here. We just wanted some food in our bellies before going to sleep. The location is very good and the menu is pretty varied. We were seated quickly since it was not at all crowded. The service was average at best, perfunctory and not friendly. Our wine was delicious (but, hey, it is Paris!). I ordered the steak and frites and my wife ordered the chefs salad. My steak was surprisingly tasty and well prepared.
