"It's always a risk when you discover a restaurant for the first time. With a friend we discover this restaurant on the yellow page. The room is clean and the reception of the waitress is warm and friendly. we opt for the gourmet menu at 38.90 accompanied by a bottle of burgueil. (There are 31st of course cheaper formulas). Dinner was a treat. a pure moment of happiness. Congratulations to the chef who only cooks freshly with a lot of talent! "hope" has angoulemia. a card not to be missed!!!_"

we greatly appreciated our passage to hope!!! very good reception, good and original dishes, entries in the form of desserts, a sweet savoury touch very well combined! We've had a nice time.

beef pavement full of nerve; fish that bathed in the water of the endives, purée de brocolis fade, the horrible wine, and the patronage not very kind because they told him of our discontent briefed to avoid

the formula from noon to 15€90 includes entrance, dish, dessert. the quantities are correct, the dishes are well cooked (without particular ambition),. We can't say it's average, but we can't write it down very well either. it is a good (which does not exist in the notations!). The service is fast. the room is relatively noisy, unfathomably sounded. easy parking in the immediate vicinity. View menu

not the restaurant where one will return: choice of dishes not very original, ratio quality average price, the big flat: the cooking of the fries was clearly insufficient and as it was the only accompaniment with the meat.par against the paved was good and the cooking respected but the accompanying shallots were badly cooked and not tasty desserts untested the colors and decoration elements of the room completely lack sobriety

gathered for our closing meal, 35 pers, we spent a wonderful day in the heart of this restaurant where everything was at the top: delicious, hearty and beautifully presented dishes, accompanied by tasty wines, all served by magali, the patron saint, welcoming, smiling and dynamic. In short, everything has been at the height of our hopes, offering us an opportunity to feast and joyfully deflect us. Thank you for this moment that will remain a beautiful memory.

"I had not intended eating out as I had had a decent and large picnic. It was the weekend of the Circuit des Remparts so every where was packed. The 'Bistroc' was equally busy but I saw rognons de veau on the menu ('Carte') so I asked if they could serve me. They said there would be a long delay but I could sit at the bar and have a drink if I didn't mind waiting. As I had time on my hands I was quite content to sit with a beer reading a book. Eventually after half an hour i was approached by one of the two (I presume ) owners and asked if I had ordered. I said not and he proclaimed himself 'desolee' taking my order. 10 or 15 minutes later I was presented with a magnificent steak - I think a cote de beouf - which I would have readily tucked into. Sadly not what I had ordered. More apologies and eventually the rognons de veau arrived. Nicely cooked, no sauce but good 'frites' and salad. I completed the meal with cafe gourmand, not spectacular but perfectly acceptable. When the bill arived they did not charge me for either my beer or the wine with my meal - quite unnecessary but hey insisted. This place is an old fashioned grill with great atmosphere - aided or hindered by two children of one or both of the patron(ne)s who raced around the place chasing each other and flirting with custommers. High quality food unpretentiously cooked. although I concede not cheap.Despite being rushed off their feet the two front of house staff I assume, the owners made every possible effort to make the cusommmers welcome.A very enjoyable evening."
