We stayed here in November on a business trip. This is the first opportunity I have had to write a review and say we enjoyed both a tasty dinner and breakfast here and the accommodation was extremely clean. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch carvery here today. Great choice of meats and vegetables, with Yorkshire puddings, pigs in blankets and stuffing balls. Lovely personal service at the carvery and Donna is here from the Ship at Edern! Keenly priced wine as well. We will be back as soon as we can!

The food at this restaurant is delicious and beautifully presented. The staff provides excellent customer service. The ambience is great and the pub has been tastefully renovated while still maintaining a cozy atmosphere. It's a fantastic asset to the local community and definitely worth a visit. Thank you very much.

My family of seven visited this restaurant after our usual spot in the area closed unexpectedly, and I'm glad it did. It was a quiet Tuesday evening, but the atmosphere was warm. We brought our dog, who was welcomed in the back room. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We all finished our meals and left happy.

My daughter and her husband and 2 children took me here for supper. We all had a lovely meal couldn't fault it. Delicious puddings too. As a housekeeping Manager of 2 busy holiday parks I'm always looking at cleanliness of places, and I couldn't fault a thing. The ladies toilets were gleaming..well impressed . Keep up the good work everyone your a credit to the area..

We’ve been eating the wonderful hot beef and onion baguette here since about 1375. Under new owners, this has become a truly splendid dish: a warm, crusty baguette, splendid fried onions and thick, thick slices of cooked beef with excellent crisps and salad on the side. Plus probably the best chips I’ve ever eaten out. And the homemade Chocolate Orange cheesecake is sooo good.

Visited for a family meal with 2 small dogs and 2 children We had struggled to find anywhere that would accommodate us but the Lion was perfect Very welcoming Much work has been done by new owners which has Really enhanced the place Excellent staff and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal, good menu well cooked and presented So pleased we chose to eat here and will most certainly be back!
