"Walking down Hahnenstraße my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into L'Osteria for a pizza as we were hungry and we've ate here before and know the pizza served here are delicious. I love the look of this restaurant, a lovely interior, great...decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this restaurant, a great place to unwind in. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Tuesday evening, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a beer each while we checked out the pizza menu, beers were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and for our pizza we both opted to have a salami pizza each, after a shortish wait our pizza's arrived and what a treat. The pizza was superb ,a delicious base,a very generous topping beautifully seasoned and huge ,it was just what we needed to set us up for the night ahead . We both really enjoyed our pizza and beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time . L'Osteria is easy to locate along Hahnenstraße. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 11am till Midnight. Sunday, Midday till Midnight. A great pizza restaurant, well worth checking out if your in the area."

Came here for dinner and we both got a pizza I got the Caprese and partner went for Salami. Pizza's were massive bigger than the plate they were served on! That being said, the base was light and not too heavy and was...very tasty. We both enjoyed our meals.

If you want to eat a good pizza in Cologne this is the place for you!!! We visited the place a couple of times and had both pizza and salads. Both were very good and tasty. Quite busy restaurant and is situated in an excellent...location. we would recommend it as prices are very decent.

Having passed this restaurant a few times, I finally stopped in for dinner. It was a Sunday evening; the restaurant was crowded. But the service was friendly and the pasta. I decided against a pizza what everyone around me seemed to be eating ...in favor of SPAGHETTI CARBONARA. I was wonderfully surprised how good it was. Would that I had had more evenings to test other items on the menu. View menu

despite a reservation we were sent to the bar area and said that we found our own table. many things were where others were sitting outside. we speak German, so no problem when the waiting employees speak in the nicer part of the restaurant. dreadful and surly service with waiter not wearing his mask right. it was okay when he didn't come near us. pasta dish was tasty, wein pretty, but now with this chain first visited 2014 in berlin so familiar with it.

Went on a busy day, abused the crowdedness to sell 0.5L soda’s instead of normal sizes. Food was terrible ceasar salad is NOT a ceasar salad. Service is terrible, rushing, trying to be funny. Worst thing was payment the guy tried to determine...his OWN tip because he found his own service “good” he tried to up the price by 10%. When we addressed the food was not all that good he refused to listen and started aggresively pushing to get more tip money. TERRIBLE experience. Fyi: we did offer him a nice tip, but he just wanted more and got annoyed when we wanted to give him feedback about the food and service. We’e experienced this as extremely rude and misplaced! He doesn’t know someone’s budge...

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
