"I lived in Königstein between 2009 and 2012 when was assigned by my employer to Germany, my house was 3 blocks from Lucullus and it was our preferred restaurant in the area........some weeks ago, we spent a long week end in Frankfurt on holidays and having dinner in Lucullus in Königstein was THE highlight of our plans. Very good to see that it has not changed in terms of atmosphere, service, food and wine. What a a place !!!!! Everything was simply perfect, the starters, great pasta, amazing risotto, very good gnocci and a great recommendation on the fish. If in the area, and fancy some great Italian food......this is the place.Consider that is not a cheap option, but a definitely a good one. In my view worth every EUR spent"

aufmerksamer Service gepaart mit leckerer Küche, eine gelungene Kombination. Das Risotto Capri und das Tuna Tataki sind wärmstens zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Food is good although a bit over priced. However, the service is probably one of the worst I have experienced. We were completely ignored had to ask for the menu several times, one of us were brought the wrong food once we had ordered, no...apologies, no nothing. Very arrogant waiters. Not worth visiting. There is better food in the area with a more enjoyable experience.

We came in as a big business group (20+ people), with a pre-set four courses menu. The food was overall ok, still nothing special, while aperitifs and wine list were decent. We were sit in a packed area, one very close to each other. Service...was extremely late and slow, as it literally took us over 3h to get our food menu served. Neither any bread was left on the table, nor any bottle of water was left there, forcing us to look for the waiters and ask for it every little while. We came in with high expectations but food was nothing to-write-home-about while the extremely slow service ruined it all.

We wanted to go out for dinner on a friday night - spontaneously. All restaurants were full - not this one. We were happy to get a table and we had heard that this restaurant should be quiet nice. When we got there they gave us the menu for drinks. After 15 Minutes they came back and took our drink order. We asked for the food menu. The not very friendly waiter didn't come back and when we tried to make contact with other waiters who were OBVIOUSLY free didn't feel like coming either, we put the money for the drinks on the table and left. Never had an experience like this one before. The restaurant was not even busy.
