"I had heard about maki and Ramen from non-vegan friends, and the restaurant always appeared to be busy so I assumed it was good. However, when I finally went to try it, I was disappointed by the limited vegan options. I ordered the miso ramen without egg, and found it to be quite bland. The restaurant was overcrowded, making it difficult to hear the people at my table who were only 50 cm away. While I recognize that the food may be enjoyable for non-vegans, I personally was not impressed."

Stopped in and had a ramen bowl which was great. Nice and spicy my friend had pumpkin and edamame rolls which he enjoyed as well

I must admit, I haven't sampled many vegan ramen dishes before, but this one was absolutely delicious. The restaurant has since added a whole vegan menu with options like ramen, sushi, and kimchi. The staff are delightful and the atmosphere and decor are both awesome. View menu

The Maki Ramen on South Bridge has a more informal feel than its other locations, and specialises in ramen and other comfort food. I had the miso ramen, and they swapped out the egg noodles for rice noodles to make it vegan. It was really delicious, and wonderfully comforting on a cold day!
