"I came here to celebrate my wife's birthday. It is a nice place. It was my first time trying Beef Wellington, and although the pastry was a bit overdone, the beef inside was good. The gravy was one of the best I've had. My girlfriend really enjoyed her steak as well. The only downside was the slow service and difficulty getting someone's attention. I had booked a 50% off mains deal through OpenTable, but it was not recognized when I arrived. I also felt a bit embarrassed when I asked about it, as sometimes places dispute such offers after you have already ordered. I had also tried to arrange a birthday surprise for my girlfriend with sparklers, but when I asked one of the waiters, they just told us to order dessert and we only got "happy birthday" written on her plate. Overall, the food was good, but the service could be better."

Upon arriving, I was asked to provide proof that I had booked a specific offer, which was quite embarrassing. Additionally, I had to ask for the set menu multiple times.

Considering it was New Year's Eve the day we were at dinner, I would say great. Two small notes : check the consistency of the ingredients between the dishes indicated in the menu and the dishes served and do not combine very tasty and seasoned cheeses

There was too much sauce and Tabasco in the prawn cocktail, and I have cooked more tender steaks at home. However, the service was acceptable and the portabello mushrooms were delicious. It was my 60th birthday celebration and overall it was disappointing. Hopefully, they can improve in the future.

The food was served cold, and the portion of steak in the Porterhouse for 1-2 people was very small. When we requested for the food to be sent back, they only reheated the sides (which were still cold) and returned them later than the meat. This resulted in us not being able to consume everything at the same time. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I do not plan on returning. View menu

The service at this restaurant was awful. I made a reservation via text, received a confirmation back, but then received a call the next day asking to confirm again. When I arrived, my table was not ready and there was no service at the bar. Despite booking a 3-course menu, I was handed a regular menu and had to show my reservation to finally get the correct menu. To top it off, I was charged a £1 seating charge and a 12.5% tip.

Disappointed would be an understatement. My anniversary dinner at a restaurant that claims to be a steakhouse was terrible. How someone manages to undercook chips, mess up a Kir Royale, and serve a dry steak on a plate full of blood is beyond me. Getting 50% off the mains through Open Table still felt like I was overpaying for thus sub standard meal. Don't go! Hawksmoor or any other real steakhouse will be cheaper and infinitely better.
