"We visited this restaurant after seeing how highly rated it was, we had high expectations, which were initially met. Lovely quirky decor and an extensive drinks menu made us all agree this was a good call, however we then realised we spoke to soon. The...service was very bad, it took a long time for them to take our order, the waiter was friendly but very relaxed. He didn’t come back at all before food, despite us having finished our drinks quite a while before, we eventually had to flag him down, however we still enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed the atmosphere. This all changed when the food arrived, between of us we ordered ribs, burger and a curry wurst. The ribs were the most salty food I’ve ever eaten in my life (and I LOVE salt), nobody could manage more than ribs, and an hour and three waters on I can still feel it in my mouth. This meant two of our meals were entirely inedible. The curry resembled spiced ketchup and the burger was dry. We all did love the chips though. Our waiter didn’t speak English so we didn’t end up complaining. I’d visit again for a drink but would avoid the food at all costs."

Do not eat here. Good atmosphere looks great for drinks. I ordered a currywurst, the “homemade curry sauce” was ketchup with cumin sprinkled on top . Ribs were appalling. Burger was passable. Service was poor. Without a doubt the worst meal I’ve ever eaten.

visits with friends for lunch and drinks. we had the reserve ribs, parm gnocchi, kaprese and bruschetta. all fresh ingredients and delicious. we had a lot of cocktails and beer. they have great cocktails with a beautiful spout. the personal was super, helpful and friendly....The atmosphere was super cool! We had a nice dinner there accompanied by white "house wine" as suggested by a waitress. The meals were decent for the price charged, however the menue card did not show much variety containing a lot of hamburgers, pasta and other high-carb foodstuff. Conclusion? It is kinda of heavy on a meat/pasta side (an Americal-Italian touch), not really German cuisine if you expect that, whereas I would rather go for the Mediterranean (more vegetables and seafood). But well, everybody decides for her/himself...A cosy place, though, with friendly personnel and not overrun.

I will start by saying it is a little of the beaten path but well worth a visit. The beer...selection is great and reasonably priced and the ribs are absolutely fantastic! they are juicy and tender and the meat falls off the bone...I am salivating thinking about them now.
