"I have Thai food pretty much anywhere I go, and have been about Thailand. Reviews were great here grabbed a take away but I was a wee bit disappointed. The chicken starter in the leaves was dry and the pieces were very small given the price I'd avoid that starter. I bet the others are better. The stir fry dish I had was very watery. Not sure about the crispy noodles. I'd stick to sticky rice if I plan on going again"

"Service initially slow. Food when it came out was lovely but the evening was completely spoilt when the waitress knocked a full glass of lager over my partner when placing the plates causing him to be completely covered as well as his phone and everything on the table. The food was brought out before the plates so was sat there whilst we cleaned up the mess...the waitress ran off without apologising or offering to clean up. The main lady tried to blame us at first but was told what had actually happened. She offered free drinks as compensation but eventually agreed to take our meals and drinks off the bill. She admitted staff were inexperienced (the waitress didn't even know what each dish she was bringing out was). A family birthday meal spoilt by staff so we won't return which is a shame because the food was tasty. If the waitress that caused the issue had apologised, acknowledged her mistake and helped to clean up this review might have been more favourable."

"From the very first time we visited Herrn Nelson, we found the staff to be welcoming and friendly, and the food was excellent. When we decided to use the pub for our wedding reception, the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—and it truly was! They even highlighted my family's favorite dishes on the menu and provided a full-service hot roast in the evening. We wouldn’t change a thing. I want to express my gratitude to the management and staff for making the best day of my life run so smoothly! I cannot recommend this pub enough for both everyday dining and special occasions."

"we have already visited the harbour master caffe a few times on Saturday afternoon for our tee and cake. it is a Fab place and really relaxing, with good sounds in the background. always ma, really welcome. I just have to go there if I don't drive so I can taste the delicious looking gins. highly recommended if they are in newark"

"My wife and I have been regular customers at Pastability, ever since we moved to Newark in 2017. The food is excellent, whether for a full scale three course lunch (love their lasagnes , and the service is extremely good, whether eating in doors or outdoors. the staff are some of the most friendly we 've encountered, and since my lady and I are both disabled, we 've certainly experienced the opposite. Not only are the staff (and even the manager , extremely friendly and welcoming, but also they build up a great rapport with us and other customers over the years, indeed, Pastability can definitely be described as: the place where everybody knows your name. We 've bought visiting friends, family and even the dreaded in-laws to Pastability for meals, and none have gone away disappointed. So, whether you want to drop in for a quick gelato, (have to recommend the Ferrero Rocher , or sit down for a long weekend lunch, if you 're in Newark, Pastability is definitely a place worth going! My only regret, is that they aren 't larger (would love to see what they could do with an evening menu ."
