"The restaurant offers a menu with food similar to what we have experienced in Portugal and Madeira, likely due to the owner's 15 years living in Lisbon. It was odd that the restaurant wasn't very busy, perhaps because it was a Sunday evening. Our meal included calamari and chorizo for two, followed by a sirloin steak cooked as requested and a seabass filet served with fennel, roasted baby tomatoes, potatoes, and sauce vierge - all delicious. We had a drink each. We were staying nearby at the Premier Inn and would definitely return to Mediterranean Twist if in the area again."

We decided to visit Glasgow on a whim to do some bar hopping last night.

The restaurant offers excellent value food when using a taste card. The ambiance is pleasant and the atmosphere is very peaceful during the day.

I struggle with this bar - I want to like it, but it continues to disappoint. I only ever come here at lunchtime, so perhaps my review is tainted. The View menu

The personal service at this restaurant was excellent. The staff took the time to explain the menu to us. The steak we ordered was juicy and delicious. We would definitely return again.

After reading the poor service reviews for Mezze (just across the road) we decided to TWIST! Starters, main course and desserts were all of a high quality with just the right quantity, water was complimentary and service was friendly and courteous....£62 including a bottle of wine was fair value for a restaurant of this standard. We will definitely go back, I'm surprised that it wasn't busier.

you cannot fault the food or the service. The prices are very reasonable and with the taste card 50% off! The menu is limited which i think just shows is good quality ingredients and meals cooked to order. They offer tap water and a good wine menu. The beer is lovely (portugese and the staff are so friendly. The only downside is, theres not enough diners to provide the atmosphere. it has only been open a few months and it takes time. i will definitely return again as it beats some of the other new restaurants around ; View menu

The beer is beautiful (Portugese and the staff are so friendly. The only drawback is that there are not enough divers to offer the atmosphere. it was only opened a few months and it takes time. The menu included similar food as in Portugal and Madeira and that is because the owner lived in Lisbon for 15 years. Why the restaurant was not busy is strange, but maybe a Sunday night is not popular. Our meal consisted of Calamari and chorizo for two, followed by a Sirloin steak boiled medium as desired and a seabass fillet served very nicely with fennel, roasted baby toms, potatoes and sauce quad and we thought the meals very well. We just had a drink. We were near the Premier Inn and would not hesitate to return to the Mediterranean Twist if in the area again.
