"A group of 12 of us reserved a table to watch the football, and we had a fantastic afternoon enjoying both the sports and our lunch and drinks. The service was outstanding throughout, both during the game and while dining. The table reservation process was quick and efficient, and any requests we had were addressed promptly and effectively. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and the excellent service provided by the staff and management. I highly recommend visiting this well-managed establishment."

"If you’ve ever had nandos this place is trying to do what nandos does but (sorry to say) isn’t the greatest at it. My parents absolutely love it but personally I’m not a fan. The sauce selection is very limited, food doesn’t have great deal of flavour its not cooked great. We’ve given this place a go 3 times and for the price you pay it’s definitely not worth it personally I wouldn’t come back."

"I had the most disappointing Indian meal in years at this restaurant. The samosa was tiny and lacked meat, priced at £3.95 for just two pieces. The onion bhajis were also £3.95 for a portion of two, and the bhindi portion was only a few spoonfuls for £3.75. The prawn on puri was not much better, with small shrimp on slightly larger prawn crackers. The tandoori mixed grill was a letdown at £12.95, with dry slices of lamb and chicken, a small seekh kebab, and a piece of chicken that looked old. The food was cold and dry, and most of it ended up in the bin. I would never return here after spending over £45 on such a lackluster meal. It's clear that the restaurant lacks quality and care in their dishes. I would not recommend dining here."

"Booked a table dispite the pub being fairly empty at before 5 we ordered and were warned it would be 45mins for food, no updates where given chased at the hour, told it would be 5 more minutes, 1 hour 25 minute food arrived. Food was nice avoided puddings. Got home to find I’d still been charged a 12.5% service charge. Service was poor with almost to many bar staff on and hanging around near the bar but not behind it. Unfortunately this the second time it’s been very slow, last time put it down to it being a works function and a large group. Lovely location, good food but poor service."

"the lion housed on 2 May the most amazing high-time reception for our daughter. everything from the minute we went into the minute we went was perfect. Amazing eating, friendly and attentive staff especially lucy, who helped my daughter arrange her special day and make the day perfect. all our guests could not survive how amazing the place and the staff was and could not believe how delicious and hot the whole food was. well done once again to the chefs! many thanks to everyone at the lion that our daughter magical day have made so special. would recommend this place to everyone. every second. x"
