Mumbai Spice - Menu

I ordered through Just Eat but a few items were missing from the order. The staff were accommodating and added the missing items directly. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Every dish arrived hot and the flavors were amazing. It was also good value for money and the delivery was quick.

I have tried all of the Indian restaurants in the area, and this one is definitely the best. The flavors are incredible, and I wouldn't even think about going anywhere else. Want to have a great night? Have your partner dress up as Britney Spears, grab a few cans of White Lightning, and enjoy a delicious lamb tikka masala at this restaurant.

I'm pretty sure we were delivered the wrong items but it's hard to tell as the food doesn't look like the pictures. We ordered a tikka masala and a butter chicken. the butter chicken did not look or taste like butter chicken, but the masala did taste like a masala. also the driver didn't have change, so we are down £3.60. it was still warm which we appreciate as it was a 15-20min drive! Delivery did not arrive. I spent £14.50 and at time of delivery I had my phone on me, as well as waited by the door for delivery. After 20 minutes of waiting after the supposed time of delivery I rang the company. They said that the driver knocked on my door three times and called twice, which they could not have since I have zero missed calls. I asked them to deliver a fresh order or to refund me, which they refused to do. Avoid at all costs!

This restaurant was a complete waste of money. I will never be going back. We ordered food on a Sunday night and were told it would be ready in 45 minutes, but it took over 2 hours to arrive. When it finally did, both of our curries were spilled in the bag and we barely received enough food for a single plate, despite paying £26. I tried calling multiple times to address the issue, but no one answered. It completely ruined our night. They need to improve their packaging.

My food was 2 hours late! When calling the restaurant to ask where it was they put the phone down several times. When it finally arrived it was stone cold and there were bones in the chicken breast and shells on the prawns still which could’ve made us seriously unwell. I am extremely disappointed and after spending £50 on a meal I would have expected the food to at least be on time, hot and edible. Indian food is my favourite food and has been for 20 yrs. Due to the virus we’ve been forced to seek out our favourite meal from the take outs best able to accommodate us. Well, this one is one to avoid at all costs. The quality of food is terrible. With so much competition around you’d think they’d be at least average at worst. O no!! This food is not good at all. Naan bread is not fresh and hard. Portion size is small. I’ve never tasted a Dopiaza quite like this one. Just to top it off, they took no notice of the notes I put on my order about it being hot and then upon trying to call them to complain, didn’t even answer the phone. Avoid, avoid avoid.

We’ve been customers of Mumbai Spice for about 15 years but tonight they’ve really dropped the ball badly. We ordered a takeaway online at 6.20 and was told it would be about 55 mins. When it hadn’t arrived at 7.35 I called and was given the classic answer “It’s just left and will be with you anytime.” It finally arrived at 8.10 and the driver told us traffic had been bad. The food wasn’t cold but it wasn’t exactly piping hot either so disappointing. Then to make things worse my wife had ordered a paneer mukhani and found a large chunk of lamb in her dish which put her off her food as she is a vegetarian. I called to complain and the staff just weren’t answering so made it even more frustrat...

Look, I 'm 53 years of age. I 've had a fair few curries in my lifetime: some good, some awesome, some average, some poor. But by far and away the worst curry I 've *ever* had came from Mumbai Spice on Woodborough Road, Nottingham. I 've only ever had one meal that I paid for that was worse and that was burnt).
