Looks interesting fro outside but can honestly say the two dingy bits of bacon, like leather that were passed off as a bacon roll was a joke. Yea also had a hair floating around. Avoid

Great toasted sandwiches with delicious indredients. Excellent coffee. Good coffee beans and skillful bararistarization. Good vibe relaxed. Friendly staff. Decent prices. Handy for station. Go there. You'll like it.

Just grabbed a quick soup to take away before my train arrived. Very friendly quick service. The soup with Parsnip and Sweet Potato and absolutely delicious! Roll was a little dry but the server did offer to toast it, i declined as i didnt have enough time to wait. But would definitely reccomend the soup!!

I ordered the avocado on toast for breakfast. It had lots of onion, too much! The bread was soggy. No table service, I wasn’t given cutlery or napkins when my plate was served. The girl at the till wasn’t the friendliest of staff either! Lots of banging and noise from dishes being cleared, which you would expect from a cafe in the city centre, but I was far too noisy. I ate and was working out of this place for a few days in Late Oct/Nov, the front door was wedged open (Edin in the depths of winter is NOT warm! , I had to ask the guy if I could close the door (cue eye rolling ..also they play really generic hip (it 's not music way too loud. The Guy (young lad mid 20 's working there clearly does not value that it 's the CUSTOMER that comes 1st and maybe he thinks he 's running a disco, not a coffee shop. People want a warm, cozy, draught-free environment and not to have your generic, rubbish music blaring.

We stayed in the Haymarket area and ate here twice during our stay. Personally we found it to be absolutely spot on. First day I had the porridge with red berries and granola and husband had a full English both dishes were absolutely superb. On the second day we tried the omelettes and poached egg with pulled pork and haggis again absolutely spot on. My chai latte was served in a cup and was one of the best chai lattes that I’ve had, so disagree with previous reviews. Staff were 2 welcoming young men who were chatty helpful and polite, we had no issues with the music the choice of music we found very appealing and wasn’t too loud, but it was the weekend so no external noise from the ongoing...

I've walked past Nomad so often, thought I should give it a go. Unfortunately, I won't be back and I regret not asking for a refund. I took the last available table. The table was clean but there was a slice of tomato by my feet. The music was very loud and uncomfortably pounding more suited to a nightclub or bar than a coffee shop. It would be hard to have a conversation without raising your voice. I wonder if it was to cover up the building works outside. Perhaps closing the door and finding an alternative way to ventilate the shop might be a better short term solution than the disco vibe? I ordered porridge.
