The first time I visited The Old Buttercross, both the food and the staff were excellent. The restaurant itself was really impressive, and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

We were disappointed that the table we had requested was not reserved for us, and to make matters worse, there was no steak available—this has happened to us twice now. It's hard to believe a restaurant can run out of steak, it seems almost absurd. Thankfully, we weren't celebrating anything special. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 4.

I've dined here several times with friends and family, and I can confidently say we've never had a bad meal or experienced poor service. The staff is always very helpful, and the value for money is excellent. To top it all off, we celebrated New Year's Eve there. The food was fantastic, and the staff was cheerful and accommodating. Plus, we even had Elvis performing! It was brilliant—keep up the great work! View menu
