"the Peruvian cuisine was for me three years ago in london the most exciting new culinary discovery for a long time, and I have since tried six and two of the better Peruvian restaurants. Nevertheless, it is difficult to describe what is special about it – I know, besides the respective meat and fish as well as the pseudo-targeted quinoa, kartoffeln peru, as home to the erdapfels and mais hardly any of the ingredients used. I just know that eating in my favorite locals is freshly decorated, original-pikant and is as colorful as artfully dressed. we advise for the hard facts wikipedia: [the Peruvian kitchen has emerged from the concluding of numerous influences, based on the traditional kitchen of the inca. in colonial times dominated mainly the influences of Spanish cuisine. In the 19th century, elements of different single-walled kitchens were taken over, among others the African, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French and English cuisine. ... according to the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, 1.3 million tourists of livelihoods came to the country in 2013, which was 40 of the total number of visitors. as I have not yet traveled in Peru and currently there is no trip there, I was very pleased to hear that there is now also a Peruvian restaurant near me. the name was already known to me by the recommendation of a Peruvian barkeeper. the chefin has previously operated a catering service and hosted on Sundays in their private cellar friends, well-known and other guests. in this month of October 2016 she finally opened her own restaurant, and immediately convinced me my first visit yesterday. as I decided to start anticuchos grilled bark hearts, marinated in Peruvian seasonings, served with steamed kartomas, which were very delicate I were a lot of hard caught and tasted wonderfully smoke somewhere else. the four spits for 9,90 euro should also reach for two average hungry people as an appetizer. in peru is the street food that is popular with wikipedia, which I consider in this case as real quality features. combinado marino was the main food 15,50 euro: rice with seafood according to Peruvian art, with kewitsche and crispy roasted tint fish. ceviche is a standard dish that I recommend to anyone new: it is an salat of rohem fish that is cooked cold in lime marinade. the ollita mix was Peruvian home cooking in the best sense of the word. he was not as highly developed as in the more expensive london and berlin restaurants, but met my taste nerve a hundred percent; especially the sour kabeljau. for the perfect peru feeling, a pisco sour must not miss 7,90 euro, a refreshing foamy cocktail from the Peruvian nationaldrink pisco a destillat from grape must, freshly pressed limette, white cane sugar, icy and angostura bitter. pisco gives 's in ollita peruana naturally also pure, it tastes more fruity and softer than the art related grappa. also very good is the Peruvian sauvignon blanc intipalka 6,20 Euro/0.2l a great first visit with attentive service and beautiful chat with the wetin, who calls for a quick repetition. The food is really good and the pisco sour makes it all go smooth. Ceviche is tasty and spicy so don't tell them to make it too hot cause it will hurt. Tres leches is the way to end it all. Worth the trip and the staff will do everything they can to make you happy. View menu

we had a very nice evening. the food was very good and tasted excellent to everyone. more beautiful and a few more elegant glasses would be that you could easily change. this does not change the good taste of eating. Many thanks for the nice service and good eating.

I had an overall good experience at Ollita Peruana. We started with apisco sour and a maracuyá sour and they both were delicious and nicely presented. As entry, we had ceviche. It was nice and tasted just like in Peru. So far, I would have given the restaurant 4 or maybe 5 stars, but then came our main dishes. We had an ají de gallina and lomo saltado. The lomo saltado was good in taste but the ají de gallina was way too salty. At the beginning, I thought it wasn't so bad, but as I kept eating I realised: "Ok, it is really salty, it's not because of the ceviche's chilli still in my mouth". But it was too late by then to ask for a new dish or something. Also, both the lomo saltado and ají de g...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
