"we were there in the evening. the little local was very well visited. the owner welcomed us four friendly. we had come to recommendation.A great surprise was for us the Vedic water, a cup for 1.20 euro. the ordered food could not be seen for a long time. Before that we had ordered bread with dip. if everything is freshly prepared we like to wait. then four little balls came to our table. I thought that's gonna be just a part of the dishes. after a past came a somewhat larger dish rice with three granatapfel seeds than deko for all of us. I had ordered "ajurvedic corma." the various types of vegetables were found with the lupe and were almost completely boiled. the rice was very fast all, we ordered another dish. this was beaten 15 minutes time, came in a mini dish for us four people therefore. each of us had ordered another court, tastefully they differed from our opinion by themselves by different degrees of sharpness. we were not fed up, so we ordered another dessert. mangoeis very tasty but for the price of euro 5,40 too little, just as the magic cucumber for euro 4,90. the price for four people was close to 100 euro incl. drinks. (to the house we had to eat enough! The next day I looked at the lunch table card: there you can dine for the price of 7 euro in this restaurant. My conclusion: in future I will pay attention in my local selection to go to a restaurant where no meat is processed in the same kitchen."

I must admit that it was at the end a very good dinner, a great choice and a friendly staff. the taste was weakened compared to the original strong taste Indian spits. therefore perfect for those who want to have a presentation of how Indian food tastes.

Fine indian cooking at a fair price. The decor is a bit retro, but it fits well with an Indian ambiance : The service was wonderful we even learned about lions in India! It lies off the beaten path, but easy to get to...with the bus which drives through the city center View menu

small map with several vegetarian and vegan but also non-vegetarian. we chose the meat variant. dishes were tasty and freshly prepared, with an unusual flavor note in comparison to a normal one. our very different sharp-sharp-chees were well hit. service was very friendly.

we were there to four with friends. my partner is vegan and so we like to go Indian food. the local was a recommendation of a friend of our friends with whom we were there. the service was very friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. The appetizers arrived timely and were also tasty. the main foods were brought to the table in an impressive way, but in a reasonable time and only after the appetizers were removed. the main dishes were sufficient and according to the desired seasons. the trip was completed together for all in a bowl and after this was empty was also renewed without request. the local empty and the opening time was certainly already exceeded and we would not be forced to go. when w...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
