"Visited Penleys Café mid-afternoon, avoiding the lunchtime rush. Very relaxed atmosphere, felt homely with friendly, helpful staff. Great selection of food, but being lunchtime I went for a club sandwich and chips. Wow, what a meal that turned out to be. Finished off with a gorgeous home-made carrot cake. Absolutely delicious fare at a very reasonable price. I live some 50miles away but anytime I 'm in this area this lovely cafe will be my top choice for refreshment. Well done Penleys, and thank you."

Visiting Richmond went into Penleys. Staff friendly and welcoming, was very clean, qseated straight away. (there is seating upstairs. Had the quiche and salad, the quiche was amazing, absolutely gorgeous, had a lovely crispy top WOW.!! Looking around at other tables and all the food looked beaut to. Well worth the visit.
