"Our parents live locally to this venue, speak very highly about it and have been promising the take us for some years now. We went today and I honestly don’t know why it took us this long, but we will be back. Feeding three generations well (and to high standards of satisfaction) is no easy task, but this menu had something for everyone, despite its relative simplicity (see pics) We enjoyed the burger, cauliflower, haddock, salmon tian, prosecco, espresso, posset, frangipane and affogato. The space was both elegant and welcoming. The dishes were beautifully presented and made you want to tuck in. The meals were pitch perfect; some had enough dish innovation to make them memorable whereas others promised and delivered exactly what they said. So smart to do that. Puddings all excellent, as was my espresso. Prices are always subjective but from my perspective, really great value. The service and bigger venue picture were cracking too; lovely care and banter with the side option of choosing and taking away some cards, gifts and Middlemore nursery plants too. I mean, who knew that was going to be what I really needed on a Saturday lunchtime. I know now. Possibly the best lunchtime venue nr Richmond? But shhh, don’t tell everyone or we will never get booked next time."

I moved to North Yorkshire a year ago and have been continually disappointed by the lack of good vegetarian food. This matter was remedied today. Delicious food in stunning gardens, we’ll definitely be back!

Since opening this café hasn`t changed neither the excellent standard nor the quality of its food. Furthermore, the service is perfect. In my opinion Middlemoor Farm Café is outstanding in the Richmond area.

Visited this morning for breakfast following recommendations. Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Food was delicious and made it a special start to my wife's birthday celebrations. We will definitely be back.

Our second visit , and brought family from overseas. They also loved the Farm Cafe, and the lovely food. How nice that the menu had additions to reflect the Jubilee Celebrations. The owner and the service staff couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. Everything was so good. Will be back to come again to the SUPER garden centre, and Gift Shop and especially to enjoy good food and ambiance .

On a recommendation from a family member we booked a lunch reservation at middlemoor farm cafe and I have to say we were not disappointed. The cafe is set within the lovely yorkshire countryside five minutes from Richmond centre. We had main meals, there is a light bite option but when the food is this good you'd regret not having a main meal. We had the cod on a bed of potato curry and lamb koftas with chickpeas and pickled red onion and chilli. WOW! Food was tasty, beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. We tried the pear and lemon frangipane for dessert served with clotted cream. A water jug is given freely upon arrival at your table. This family run business is friendly, helpfu...

Upon entering the establishment, we walked through the quaint but pretty “farm shop”. In here you could purchase lots of novelty but well made items, think things you’d buy your mum for Mother’s Day or your Nan any day of the week. Once we made our way through the entrance shop, we opened the door to the cafe. My partner and I were greeted by a lovely, smiley lady who set us to our seats (we hadn’t booked but I’d recommend booking, it appeared to be non stop traffic when it came to tables). We’d just missed out on the breakfast menu but I perused the wider menu and landed on the classic, club sandwich. My partner had another classic, the soup. I have to say feedback from both of us was brill...

"We had booked with booking.com . On arrival we were told that we didn't get breakfast included and that it would be £15 a head. We accepted this although thought was pretty steep for breakfast in a pub.The first morning we were given a menu clearly stating that breakfasts were included with all accommodation. I ordered poached eggs with smoked salmon and the other two ordered a full English breakfast which included homemade black pudding. The breakfasts arrived ,one of my poached eggs was runny, the other hard. The English breakfasts had no black pudding on the plates and when queried we were told that the deliveries hadn't arrived. Doesn't homemade imply made on or near the premises and as the owner states he is a butcher by trade I would expect he had made the black pudding. No alternatives were offered and presentation was distinctly lacking , with the baked beans poured over the other items. The next day I risked the full breakfast with black pudding which was lovely. But again the others had badly cooked poached eggs. We were offered no fruit juice, cereal or even toast and marmalade. On leaving we discovered the pub was unmanned , despite poor mobile signal. The owner turned up after 15 minutes. The bill was handed over, charging us for seven breakfasts when we had six, it was adjusted after he asked if one of us had had two breakfast one day? He served and cooked them so should know the answer to that. We were also then overcharged for nine coffee when three coffees and two teas had been ordered. Having had a family B and small hotel in York I advised him that standards were not what I was used to. I spoke to someone who had also visited recently and she stated a member of staff had charged them £15 per head for their similar breakfast where we were charged the menu price. Exceptionally poor menu, inaccurate advise saying breakfast included then charging us and probably the worst breakfast I have eaten in similar accommodation."
