"So we booked in for a quick family catch up. The restaurant was clean and tidy but not to well lit. The young lady who met us at the door was clearly in a bad mood and didnt want to be there. We got taken to our table in the most abrupt fashion . We sat there for an age waiting to have a drinks order taken i gestured to this waitress who 100% seen me but turned her back. Eventually a male waiter came over . He was very polite and friendly . Our orders were placed with no issue drinks came out quickly and the food followed . The pizzas were all fantastic . We had to get the waiters attention for more drinks and no check backs were made. It was the end of the evening and our waiter and the shift manager were cleaning down and I felt this contributed to our service not being that attentive as they were clearly busy cleaning everywhere. So to sum up great food friendly staff bar one and maybe best to avoid booking at the end of the day"

I can't believe I spent more than £13 on this meal.... Seriously!? I took my son for a special treat after his GCSE results. We ended up stopping at the chip shop on the way home.

Shocking service no cutlery on tables had to go get ourselves dirty glasses cold starter dirty tables warm beer so overall not a good visit I'd understand if it was busy but 4/5 staff and more or less empty resturant

Staff didn’t look overly bothered about our table, nobody did a check back and when I asked the manager for the bill I was completely blanked, when I finally got the bill it took 10 minutes for the card machine to be bought over

Thought the service was good today, but the cleanliness could be better (sat on the long black cushioned seat and it was quite dirty and dusty). Food, you know what to expect from pizza express. Its not the world's best pizza, but has its place. The kids menu is decent (7.95 for three courses).

After not having pizza in the UK for a long time, we were disappointed by our recent experience. The pizza lacked the amount of cheese and pepperoni we were used to, and the tomato base was overpowering. It was also small and expensive. In comparison, in Spain and Greece, pizzas are half the price, double the size, and packed with cheese. As pensioners, we found it too expensive to order another one. Overall, we found it overpriced and lacking in quality. We won't be revisiting this establishment.

We decided to go to this restaurant as we were dining with family and had Tesco Clubcard vouchers to redeem. The service was fantastic, and I want to give a special mention to a young man who was on his second shift. He did a great job! The food was delicious, as expected from Pizza Express. The vegan options were excellent. Our bill came to around £122 for three courses and one drink each, but we used £75 of vouchers which made it much more affordable. The mushrooms could have had more flavor (not very garlicky), but they were very fresh and there were plenty of them. I can't remember the names of the pizzas we had, but they were all delicious.
