"Visited Punto for dinner Monday and was pleasantly surprised. Restaurant choice can be a little restricted on Mondays, so I decided to try this Italian trattoria. There is an outdoor dining area under some large shady trees, where sone patrons were clearly enjoying their meals....In order to avoid potential cigarette smoke, I chose indoors. There is an open kitchen (including a pizza oven) where all can observe the cooking action. Service was swift and professional all evening. I started with a Chivas Regal Whisky which was a real treat to find in such “no fuss” restaurant. An English menu was offered and greatly appreciated. Sone lightly Parmesan covered olives and fresh, warm pieces of pizza bread were provided. Good quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar were on the table. After ordering a grilled prawn main course, I settled into a Pils. The dish was excellent perfectly grilled prawns were accompanied by roast potatoes, beans and carrots together with a reasonably large side salad. Overall, the quality and quantity were excellent and the presentation was good for a mid-range restaurant, with taste and texture also admirable. Value for money puts this restaurant high on the “visit again” list."
