"As we have a power cut at home we went for a takeaway, against my better judgment my husband ordered from this restaurant, a chicken Tikka, butter chicken, 2 popadoms, chips Naan bread pickle Tray and Riata ! The butter chicken was inedible as not freshly cooked chicken but cut from large commercial joint ! Tough and swimming in sauce ! The chapatis were old and soggy and naans bread not cooked properly but doughy in the middle , chips were basic Asian chuck in fryer and into container. On opening the plastic carrier bag the brown paper bag burst and containers dropped out of the bottom, when my husband opened the riata contsiner it looked like a cross between custard and omelette and just a dollop of cheap commercial yoghurt into a takeaway tin foil carton ! This meal wasn’t a cheap takeaway but was in the product values !!! I was worried as we pulled up outside as only 2 people in there who were staff only ! Don’t waste your money on this pile of ****. Gave it 1 star as not possible to do a minus, it doesn’t even deserve a minus and now I’m going to bed no lighting ! No power and feeling hungry as we can’t cook"

I ordered lamb vindaloo, garlic rice, and garlic naan online for takeaway. The curry was delicious, with a generous amount of sauce that was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal.

After waiting over 30 minutes for our starter, it was really dissapointing hardly any chicken and was certainly not worth the money at all, the waiter had a very serious problem with dandruff and scurf

Excellent food Good service: attentive but not over attentive. Clean and nice ambiance though it was very cold when we arrived. This was probably because it was very quiet when we went. It did warm up. Our second visit and will go again. View menu

We have visited the restaurant on a few occasions and the food is great the only thing I have an issue with is one of waiters on all the times we have been there has always been a problem with the bill the last occasion we had been over charged by £20,because of this I have made a decision not to visit again as I don’t like being ripped off

I visited this restaurant for the second time and had a wonderful experience. The modern and clean ambiance was very inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu offered a mix of authentic dishes and delicious specialties. I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb dish; the meat was tender and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The food quality was top-notch. We were disappointed with our recent experience at Red Chilli. We did not receive part of our order and found that the Chicken Tikka Korma was lacking in chicken. The King Prawn Puri, our favorite starter, had overcooked prawns and was not as enjoyable as usual. Additionally, we did not receive the yoghurt and mint sauce we had ordered. We have been regular customers at Red Chilli, but this experience was a letdown. Unfortunately, we will not be returning in the near future. It is a shame, as Red Chilli was previously the only decent Indian restaurant in Northallerton.

Me and my partner are local to the area and had just nipped across the road to B&M and drove past this restaurant. In the moment we decided to have dinner out and test our chances. It was very busy but we managed to get a table and were swiftly seated/drinks provided. The poppadoms came with a lovely pickle set, my favourite was the carrot and coriander mix. The little dishes it was presented in was lovely too. For mains me and my partner has chicken tikka korma and chicken tikka masala. Again very nicely presented on a platter in metal dishes. Portions were perfect for us and we just about managed to finish it all! Delicious! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even cleaning up...

"We arrived here for a 2 night stay for a wedding (Fri sat night). PROS: Lynsey the manageress she 100% makes it so fabulous. Lovely, welcoming, looked after us brilliantly. Due to some staff shortages, she was doing what seemed like 10 jobs at once! We ate on one of the nights food was delicious! Great service tasty food. Breakfast was also spot on set us up brilliantly for the day ahead on the Saturday! The Willow room which we stayed in was fab ideal size, lovely cosy too! The whole 2 night stay was extremely reasonably priced the place itself has a great feel about it like a big cosy house! CONS: If you like total darkness, take an eye mask for sleeping as the rooms can get really bright from the early hours. Also, depending on the room, it’s on quite a busy road so can be quite nosy it would be worth having earplugs if you like a quiet surrounding. Due to staffing, the bar doesn’t stay open that late, so be mindful of this, they will however put drinks in your room if you can’t make it back in time for the bar closing. Taxis there are no local taxis, so arranging transport to the wedding we were attending was a nightmare which we didn’t account for! Luckily after 6 different phone calls, we managed to get sorted. The only gripe I had was the confusion over the bill if you decide to charge things to your room, the bills aren’t itemised so it’s difficult to keep track of what has been charged. There was some confusion on checkout over what we should shouldn’t have been charged for, so definitely choose to pay for any extras outright to avoid any confusion or uncertainty before check out. Other than that, it was one of the nicest, most personal stays we’ve had out in a long long time. This was mainly down to the Manageress Lynsey who is fabulous at her job really does make it feel like home makes you feel super welcomed relaxed. Thank you lynsey for really making a stay a one to remember."
