"the old cellar is a bit from the great tourist route. the good reviews on another portal have made us curious. the local has a few seats outside, unfortunately the street is somewhat lazy so that the table/seats also have an oblique position. but you get used to it. the menu included many spasm dishes, suitable for the season. we ordered a large salad with broth and cheese pellets with fried spargel. the dishes were prepared very quickly. the bees were very delicious. the salat consisted of a lot of leaf salad and in a ratio it could have been a little more dressing. positiw I would like to mention that gurkensalat, rettichsalat, red cabbage salad and carrot salad, which under the leaf salad, all tasted like themselves."

The restaurant, although not an actual “Keller” has a great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was amazing and the place is definitely worth a visit !

We visited for a bite of lunch after seeing photos on social media. It did not disappoint. The waitress was friendly. Good selection on menu. As we only wanted lunchtime snack we opted for Goulash soup, it was delicious and full of meat and veg....We will be back

My daughter and I ate here on our one night stay in Rothenburg, really quaint little German bistro with good hearty food. The wine was from an excellent local selection. Service was very good, the waiting staff very hospitable and we weren't rushed despite taking...a table reserved for later that evening after having stopped on the off chance. Highly recommended

A great place to eat stay! Looking for a zimmer? The Inn exceeded our expectations! The owners are excellent hosts! They even found us transport to Nuremberg! Food is the best we had in the town and the double en suite bedroom was perfect...for families! The interior is as charming as the exterior and u can eat inside with the beautiful woodwork or in the charming courtyard. It was a solid value as well. Location was short walk to center but on a quiet courtyard. We would stay again

The restaurant looked very cozy although my wife and I decided to sit outside to enjoy the weather! The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the friendly service. Hence, the excellent rating. We arrived at the restaurant at pm on the Sunday and...we were lucky because on that day the last food order was taken at pm. We found this out because another family arrived at pm and they were told that they could only order drinks but not food. This might have been because it was Sunday, however, I can’t confirm this. This is definitely a place to try out if you are in Rothenburg. Both dishes we ordered, the venison goulash and the Jägerschnitzel are highly recommended
