"We had dinner with the bedote, my friend and I, to celebrate my birthday. We tried to get a table in the past but the establishment was always complete, in doubt the victim of its success. We had the chance to have dinner and now we understand the enthusiasm for this restaurant, which I would describe as perfect! all was delicious and original, whether it was cocktail (spritz to tangerine), amuses-bouches (a kind of velvety of mushrooms and home hoummous), entrance (canard and green cabbage), dish (cane patty linet) or We enjoyed the very warm welcome and the service, both casual and very elegant, by a friendly waiter, as well as the very pleasant setting and must be even more in the summer, on the terrace. Finally, the chef, very friendly and very modest when we know his course, came to greet us at the table, at the end of dinner. La Onda is one of my favourite restaurants. Anywhere! Amazing tapas. They are not the usual small ones. And the old Vence square is lovely for outside seating in the summer. But the interior is also fabulous, so it’s an all year delight. And the owners and staff are just a friendly joy. Especially the adorable waitress Alienor! A movie scenarium in one of the streets of Vence. Once arrived on the place, the first thing I saw was the waiter running everywhere. Actually, she was the owner but she was serving and working in the kitchen as well because a couple of people were missing. I ate delicious tapas with fresh ingredients coming from Spain (in fact the owner was Spanish) and what really surprised me was the quality of the service, despite the problems with missing personnel.
