"Walking in was already a red flag since nobody too a particular interest of getting us a table for five. After asking 3 different waitors, one of them indifferently pointed us to a 9 person table. It took a while to get service and they didn't speak English. We managed to get by with some broken Italian mixed with Spanish and Dutch.(We did take in consideration that Mercury is in retrograde)Food was varying degrees of good but the portion sizes left me hungry. The service takes a long time and we had to ask for our bill 3 times.Mother wasn't happy that they claimed to have fresh gnocchi when she could tell that it wasn't.We did people join us at our table while they waited for an open spot themselves which wasn't a bad thing, but it does suck that you can't start up a conversation due to the language barrier."

it's a good and big place in the core of the city. The waiters. waitresses and the chefs are all Italian and I admit they were really serious about cooking and being professional. Good taste and good price!

Went there with 4 other friends for ice cream and coffee and etc. Service was very slow. It took awhile before a waiter came to our table. It took minimum 40 minutes for the order to arrive (we ordered only ice cream). 2 of our oders were wrong and the glasses were not clean, in fact very sticky. Quite expensive,( € 7.50 for one order)

The Valdostana could have been so different if only they had used the local Westfalen ham as opposed to the cheapest square slices from the supermarket! Just because it is covered in melted cheese doesn't mean we are unable to tell the difference! Service was indifferent and the typical Italian 'trick' of not returning with our change because they assumed it was a tip left a sour taste. The avoidance of eye contact as we left says it all! We would not return.

There were 8 of us, when we asked if we could join 2 four-seat tables together we were simply told "That's not possible" by the waitor who then walked off without trying to accommodate us. The cafe was half empty so I cannot see why this would be a problem...We eventually found a table that could accommodate us. When asked if we could have banana topping instead of nuts, we were told that this was not possible for the "ice-cream chefs" and its with nuts or no ice-cream at all. When the ice-cream arrive it was more of just a cream because it must have been sitting on the counter so long it had melted. Again, the cafe was half empty so not busy...In short the ice-cream was a let down and the s...

"Today the hotel restaurant 'Zum Ausspann' was our destination. The hotel restaurant is centrally located in Albachten on a main street and is easily accessible. Parking is enough. The outdoor area shines through a very nice beer garden, which invites you to a good weather. In the restaurant you will find a very rustic furnishings, the wooden chairs have little padding and are unfortunately somewhat unpleasant. Otherwise, the restaurant is simple. The tables were very nicely covered. As we have noted, many did not come for the first time. The place was well filled. The employees probably in the form of boss and boss very friendly and attentive. The ordered dishes came quite fleeting, the drinks were well cooled. Köstritzer Schwarzbier was served from the barrel I like. For food: The porting was good, lettuce could be joined to a small salad bar itself, unfortunately the selection was not so big. My herbal salad on the grill plate was somewhat salty, the meat was partly dry and partly too fat (hard meat roll). Only the cow steak was very well roasted. My wife had more luck with the house top, slightly in parts, but delicious. A grill plate and the “expansion” house plate were ordered, see also the menu that I have uploaded. Also during the meal, the customers were looked after with nice requests, which I also found good. Conclusion: The service was great, the food according to my taste was unfortunately only average. Therefore in the end only good 3 stars!"
