The restaurant is located directly at the Rhine River and in summer it does have a very nice beer garden with ample outside seating and nice views. The quality of food however varies. The service usually is good.

One of the better sightseeing places in Mannheim. The view on the Rhine is always a pleasure. The food is good, typical germen Flammkuchen, but then also plenty of choice, such as steak, mussels, fish. Perfect for larger groups.

Situated by the Rhein river on the opposite side of the railway station compared the city, this is a nice place in the summer. The menu is German. Many of us tried Flammkuchen (a very thin pizza with some toppings) which was very good

this restaurant has a fabulous location on the edge of the river rhine that looks out on a parking area. I ordered the fish and it was ok, but the steaks at the table looked excellent. for an interior you have to book in...Preview and for an outside table in the summer months, you probably have to.

in the past we visited this restaurant. it is next to the Rhine river in a very beautiful location. eating is decent enough. the menu is not big, but here you will find the best flame cake. also the deserts are excellent. the decoration and the atmosphere is especially beautiful in a summer night in the garden. it's a bit expensive, but the atmosphere justifies it.

Once you accept you are paying for the splendid view of the Rhine in a nice atmosphere you can get round to enjoying the experience. An extensive menu that seems to be supported by the kitchen. A good wine list and specials that signposts the...appropriate complimentary drinking choice which is good if you are not very aufait with the multitude of German white wines.

Was visiting Mannheim and wanted to eat near the River Rhine. This place looks nice wasn't cheap 16 for a Caesar salad). BUT as I was eating my salad I felt as if o was eating sand...then I came across a bunch of dirt...in my salad. They quickly replaced my salad, but the damage was done. Additionally, they did NOT comp my meal. I gave 2 stars because what didn't have dirt in it was good.

on Thursday evening with friends here to dinner. we had a reservation and our table was ready at the arrival. we were happy that they had an English version of the menu, so our friends only had to translate the specials for us. all. six people ordered various items on the menu and everyone enjoyed their meal. For Mannheim standards this restaurant is simply different. For one it is the only terrace restaurant in the area, which makes it very special. The service is quick and efficient. Most waiters speak English and there's an English menu available for foreigns. Food wise ..the food is good, really. You can tell it's in high quality and fresh made, but: 1. The menu is limited for the same specific courses and there are hardly no specials. The menu remained the same for over two years which makes it quite boring at some point. 2. No beer snacks are available- nothing lite is available to have with your beer or wine, which is a shame because I don't always wanna eat a schnitzel, black chicken or C...
