The avocado egg on toast is amazing! Best sausage rolls in Scotland! We always have to visit Roasted when visiting from across the pond. Yum!

Fantastic coffee, amazing brunches/lunches and outstanding cakes and traybakes. You can takeaway or sit in- there might be a little wait for a table as it gets busy, but it never takes long and it's worth the wait to sample this food!

Lots of vegan options which are all delicious. Not labelled but staff are friendly and knowledgable. Would recommend the CPR, toasted med, spanakopita. Most of the salads are vegan as they use vegan Mayo and pesto. The rocky road is also vegan and is the best cake I’ve ever had!

I took some salads. it was so a limited menu during the lockdown, there were four salads all vegan. I chose a brocoli and rob, and a spelz with wild greens. both of us fantastic. suppe is always vegan, has a vegan sandwich every day and vegan cake. big theo knows his eating and healthy.

Theo who runs it is always experimenting with something new and is really open to plant based options. You have to ask about what is vegan as things aren’t labelled vegan so regulars who didn’t know it’s plant based wouldn’t know. It has a really lovely atmosphere and is exactly what you’d want from a local coffee shop. Super friendly staff, it does get very busy on the weekends so plan ahead. Top marks
