"An impromptu stop for an evening meal on a wet Monday night. I throughly enjoyed my meal and I thought the restaurant/Inn was lovely. Friendly and welcoming staff and really good, tasty and well presented food. I'll definitely be back, when next up in Norfolk. Thank you for fitting me in, I so appreciated it. Nearby activities: Good for an evening meal after a day spent birdwatching and hiking. Food drinks: Appetising menu, best fish pie I've ever had, when eating out and plenty of choice."

Wonderful lunch today. The crab cake is definitely fantastic. Portions big enough to share and taste different plates. Highly recommended!

We found the pub by accident as a bit off the main drag but we were very pleased we did. Lovely meal (Sunday roast), hubby said best meal he had had in years! Service: 4 Location: 4

We arrived just before 10am for breakfast. I had Kippers and my partner had Eggs Benedict. We also had a pot of tea and toast. The staff were lovely and we were met with a friendly welcome. The fire was going and the whole experience was 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend. Rooms: 5 Service: 5

Lovely pub with older bar area and dining extension to rear. Great decor and segregated area for those diners with dogs. We had the Sunday Roast and one course was easily enough! Superb friendly and professional service (night and day compared to the place we’re in to tonight, the Black Horse at Castle Rising). Food drinks: Excellent and reasonably priced. "Absolutely delicious! The Filling Station Cafe: I have been to the Filling Station very many times over the last 5 years that I have lived in King 's Lynn. The premises; facilities, staff and food throughout that time have been consistently superb. The high quality of the food/beverages never changes. Always superb. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients and all meals prepared and cooked on the premises, makes for a lovely experience these days when we live in world full of coffee shop chains offering mass produced pre packaged foods. The staff are cheerful, professional, helpful and friendly the staff don 't change either which for me speaks volumes about how they feel at work too there is always a calm yet cheery atmosphere in the Filling Station. The value for money is excellent. Afternoon Tea: In addition I chose the Filling Station for the Catering for my 60th Birthday 'Afternoon Tea ' delivered to a local village hall and for 30 people. It was absolutely superb. Delicious finger sandwiches (5 different fillings); home made individual mini quiches, cheese scones with various toppings sausage rolls. This was all followed by a special request for variety of lemon cookies, Viennese fingers; millionaire slices and flap jacks alongside plain scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream. This was all delivered to a venue some 10 miles away and was absolutely superb! Fresh, delicious and beautifully presented! The quality was magnificent and it was superb value for money. I would highly recommend the Filling Station for it 's consistently superb quality; beautiful café; wonderful staff; equally excellent catering service and value for money."
