"... then I would write about the Rossini ... first I would like to write, the food was really good ... otherwise there would be a more worser rating ... the mixed appetizer plate was very good ... delicious squid salad, vitello tonnato , Etc ... main dishes were also good ... tuna steak ... we wanted to sit outside ... and although, we were the first guests .. they tried to maneuver us into it ... apparently no desire to go a longer way. ... and so it went on ... had me at the vertan and although the bottle was not yet opened, one was annoyed, which one had to leave again ... the waiters are in themselves rhetoric in nothing after .. are hectic ... and although only a few tables were occupied ... they seemed unfriendly and unconcentrated ... the bill fell like in a gourmet restaurant ... what the Rossini unfortunately is not ... a pity for the aftertaste ... Maybe in the future they will turn this off .. thank you"

We had dinner at Rossini on the Mother's Day and our overall experience were very positive. The food, service and the wine list were all very good. We liked the comfort of the inner space, as well.

Had a businessdinner with colleagues here tonight. Great food, my compliments to the chef. Waiters were polite, but did not serve our guests as we expected. I can recommend the food, but service was poor.

We had dinner at this restaurant as our hotel pointed us in it’s direction. Can only say, poor staff and over cooked fish. The puddings however were delicious. There are plenty of places in Heidelberg which are much better than this.

Very good quality. Both pasta and risotto have good variety and great quality. Tiramisu can be recommended as well. The staff was attentive and professional, albeit I felt that the place was a little too big for the amount of waiters they had.

My second visit to this beautiful Italian restaurant. Close to my Heidelberg Doctor's practice is this delightful Italian. I managed to get a table for lunch at the back window with a view over the Neckar River, Heidelberg Old Town and Castle. My companion and...I both had the daily special which was potato soup followed by medallions of pork fillet in a light mushroom cream sauce. Both dishes were excellent. The staff: English was fluent, very personable and attentive. The food: Three of us ate an evening meal (without spirits we didnt order any) for around € The taste was local Italian (versus exotic Italian Dining The Menu: The menu hosted...dishes in Italian language and underneath, there was an english description of what the dish had in it. We extremely thoughtful and geared toward diners who don't speak italian. The Atmosphere: We ate around seat indoors; candlelight table i dont recall there being any music though could have been. Warm and inviting. The suggestion: If you're in town looking for familiar flavors, you can't go wrong at the Restaurant Rossini. I'll be sure to visit again.

I have been for a business dinner to the restaurant Rossini which is located at a nice spot in Heidelberg, close to the river. I have been sitting on the terrace which doesn’t give you a view to the river Neckar, but rather to the...street side of that place. The quality of the food was okay, not great, but the service was miserable. I had to wait min until I received the menu card, I had to wait another min after ordering until we received the starters, but most importantly they don’t have enough waiters and waitresses and they are all stressed and rather unfriendly. In short, it is obvious that this place is poorly managed. A shame, for a restaurant at such a nice location in Heidelberg.
