Good food , easy to find if you are in the Antigone neighbourhood Friendly and efficient.Good Chicken madras and Tandoori dishes. Licensed for alcohol too

The best of all Indian restaurants I tried in Montpellier. The taste is very close to authentic. We ordered Poulet Curry and Seekh Kababab and they were delicious.

Went with my daughter. Ordered chicken tandoori, seekh kebab and pakoras as a starter, all were delicious. For main course we ordered chicken makhani and palak paneer with cheese naan and butter naan. Overall everything we ordered was perfect. Definatly recommended.

We could not fault the food! The butter chicken and Masala (prawn) was fantastic, topped off with the garlic nan and perfect rice.Great service and the menu was explained to us in English. We only have two nights in Montpellier which means we will be back for our last night here.

We arrived at 19:00 in Antigone on August 15th to find the French restaurants closed Royal Tandori to the rescue! Great food, choice. We had chicken korma vindaloo and baji and samosa starters. Lassi drinks and Cobra lager. Staff were friendly and efficient. One of our best meals on holiday.

Decided to get a curry while in Montpellier and ordered from the Veggie sand non veggie set menus. The food was delicious. Great pakoras and aloo gohl to start but strangely our naan breads were delivered at the same time. Then it all started to get a bit strange. Two out of three of us got our mains. We'd all but finished and had to chase twice before it arrived. Shame the service is so terrible as the food was really tasty.Hope they sort the service out.

We went there on December 17th, and I doubt that we will go back. Tastefully tandoori chicken, and good nan breads. My lamb madras was ok, but nothing special. Could have been more spicy. My husbands tikka masala was nothing more than what we could have stirred up at home with a jar from Pataks. The mango lassie. was tasteless, I doubt it was made with real mangoes. Anyway, I give one star for the nan, and one for the tandoori chicken. On my way out, I passed a storage hidden behind a big curtain. I peeked behind, and guess what I found? Huge jars with mixed sauces and paste from Pataks!!!

We're staying in the Novotel Suites and have started exploring the neighborhood for nice restaurants. Indian is always a favorite, so we tried the Royal Tandoori. The mango lassi was very nice and the food was good, however, three things we did not approve of: First, there was no diet coke (nor anything similar). Second, the dough of the samosas was no samosa dough at all, but was a spring roll dough, this is a no-no. Lastly, we had to wait for too long after we had finished for someone to come and clean the table. With the restaurant not really full, that was a bit of a surprise.All that said, we0d come again and try more. As I said, the food was good.

As visitors from the USA, I was curious to see how the good people in France could offer an excellent Indian price, and the results were most pleasant. The Royal Tandoori had a good arrangement for indoor and outdoor kitchen. The interior design was simple, but the Indian culture reflected a good atmosphere. The staff was friendly and understanding and gave me a welcome presence as a guest. And the food, prepared buffet style, was wonderful in the variety of what was available, all was appealing. The overall results were incredibly satisfying for me and my two local friends who visited Montpellier during my visit. I wish the company the best of success and prosperity. Thank you.
