"Saffron, do you taste the food before it goes out? Couldn’t tell how tasteless the curries were, we had a tikka masala and korma. first time ordering from this place, thought it should be amazing with the good reviews! Thought why not let’s try it, £30 down the drain. On the positive side this has give me the push now to cut takeaways out, I’d rather cook now than waste money on a takeaways. That 1hr wait and then a huge disappointment is never an easy pill to swallow when you try somewhere new"

The overwhelming smell when I walked in was almost enough to put me off, and the food was not great but just about edible. Would not recommend.

Mango chutney was like water and the food was absolutely tasteless never usually order takeaways it's definitely made my mind up not to order again.

Again a fantastic meal at saffron.. Just love how fresh the food is.. The lamb chops were so good and I think it's the best chicken madras in tameside..

Just finished a takeaway meal from here and It was lovely! We had Chicken Tika Masala, Chicken Saag, vegetable rice and chips, plus a Keema Naan. With the 15% discount, it came to £26. It was very tasty.

Wouldn't order again had the chicken tikka masala and like others have said bland no taste to the sauce missing ingredients it's supposed to be (creamy and contain almonds) not the worst food I've had definitely not the best if you want a proper takeaway go to chutney masala in dukinfield or mossley

Not been for a while due to the change of ownership, have to say the food was...ok. The staff were nice But not as good as 18mths ago And we've had many a group meal over the years. The poppadoms tray seems smaller especially the onions, Had a garlic nan, seemed it was just brushed with garlic oil. I don't think we will return, especially after all the fantastic nights we've had over the years

Used to be a brilliant takeaway however believe new management have taken over and we have noticed the curries are all now watered down considerably with not much taste or much meat in at all. Appreciate the cost of ingredients has increased but id rather pay more than have watered down food /tight serving of meat. Disappointing as we have been having food here for over 15 years. We won't be bothering anymore and will find another takeaway
