Sage Berlin - Menu

I just happened to come by. The restaurant is next to the outlet of Zalando. This is not a typical German restaurant. The menu is not so wide but it contains enough items to fit a lot of people. I ordered a small, mixed salad..

Sage is a sort of Berlin-hip restaurant with a classic menu and good open wines. Very attentive and friendly waiters. I got a great steak tatare and a good vitello tonnato. Only minus was the music too loud and too techno for my taste/evening...dinner

We were some friends going out for a nice friday night. They got the drinks we ordered all mixed up and we waited hours until we got the starters. The reply we got from the waiter was “we are busy”. They cannot handle parties...that was booked before hand. Sorry will not recommend

This restaurant was a great find when I was in Berlin on business. It is a bit off the beaten track but well worth seeking it out. Big open restaurant, if you have a big party they have great booths where you can all sit...together. Food was fantastic and service was great. They also have a nice cosy lounge with open fire where you can sit and have a drink after your have finished eating.

Popular with Berliners, the eclectic menu offers traditional German food, pizzas, house specialties and the best grilled vegetable plate all in reasonable quantities. The staff are...extremely knowledgeable and more than happy to help with suggestions on what to drink with your meal choice. And the setting is worth it on its own.

We had made reservations on a Sunday and the restaurant had organized a dance event for the Gay Pride and the music was insanely loud. The food was okay so was service. But when we got the check and decided not to leave a tip...because we were unable to have any sort of conversation another waiter became aggressive; “So you don’t want to leave a tip?!” “WAS MY SERVICE NOT TO YOUR LIKING?!”. We felt to move out quickly. Never ever had such an experience.

Contains pears and pumpkin seeds in addition to the regular green leaves.For the main course I ordered a steak fillet and a potato gratin. It was delicious and juicy. Good and fast service is highly recommended. Music and good athmosphere .

I was having dinner with my gf. We had service pretty soon but had to wait first drinks quite a while. We even didn't get any water until Friendly waiter speked good English and provided enough information about the food. I had Caesar Sallad...with prawns and my gf had steak. Sallad was disappointment because it wasn't Caesar with cheese flakes but the size was ok and prawns too. Gf's steak was perfect but they forgot to deliver the sides (sallad) and waited again mins. Overall the place is very beautiful and clean, lots of room and cool interior. Wish there was better understanding of sallads. I recommend it though.

The food is excellent! We were a group of and went for a massive surprise menu with different courses and therefore could sample the chef’s creative side and could also collect broad feedback. Everyone really enjoyed every course and was raving about the...taste. I for my part will likely never forget the woodruff-stained cod. Not so sure about the exact fish anymore but the taste was from a different world. Perfect symbiosis in taste and childhood memories. The only downside was that the deer was a bit too tough (also collective feedback). However, with the modern industrial design, the good music, the cool lighting and the friendly staff, the overall experience is excellent and this place...
