"Booked for a Sunday lunch today. After waiting at the table I realised I would need to go find a menu as there was not one on the table and no one came. Went up and ordered food and although I ordered toasted was brought cheese and tomato sandwich instead. We didn’t bother complaining as it looked and tasted very nice. Freshly made and plenty of it. We ordered scones and cream which were ok. On going to pay we were asked to pay cash luckily I had some. The toilet was not pleasant lots of cob webs and spiders!! On visiting the plant nursery next door the lady came from cafe to serve us and made a derogatory remark about a disability (my daughter passed away last year and had this disability) I am positive she was trying to be friendly but perhaps should choose her wording better. It is a shame that somewhere serving such nice food is let down by other aspects."

Not up to expectations, thinking we would get a pot of tea not a mug ,coffee not bad but not even a full mug .not asked if the tea wanted was black or white.

Quaint little tea room within a garden centre. Nothing posh but good home cooking and great service with friendly smiley ladies. Toilet has been broken a couple of times and not that pleasant. A shame as it lets Sally Anne's down.

Took a short break from house hunting to find an oasis of friendly people that know how to cook, all home produced and made to order. Hopefully will become a local refreshment spot as a house in the village was acquired after our stop at the tea room. Well done to the two “Sally Ann’s”.

We booked lunch, as it was a friend’s birthday. We were not disappointed, the special was sea bass, which just happens to be the favourite of the birthday girl. It was excellent, served with lovely fresh vegetables; new potatoes, sprouting broccoli, French beans and carrots. Excellent food, friendly people couldn’t ask for more

Refreshing tea and cake stop after a three hour journey. I come from a town and it nice to see a tearoom that wasn't commercialised. There were alot of visual signs of love within the cardshop which spoke volumes about the type of place it was. In conclusion, I think this is for people who want a break from the rush of life and to spend time with people.

As the Covid 19 lock-down was slightly relaxed we thought a takeaway roast dinner would make a nice change. The dinners were ready and waiting when we arrived to collect them. Lovely big meals with plenty of meat, six different vegetables, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding. Everybody was completely full. I can thoroughly recommend Sally Ann's roast dinners.

Sally Ann’s Is a lovely quaint place we’re the food is of a high standard and produced with care. The only thing that will improve this place in my opinion is that’s when you enter the tea rooms it would be nice to be welcomed. We were left to sit and wait for quite a long period not knowing what was needed of us In regards to ordering etc. Was we needed to go to the till or was it table service ? please don’t think that the staff or owners are rude this just isn’t the case it maybe that they were to busy to do the formalities. But after contact was made we were made very welcome and was pleased with the level of service and food. We would definitely return if we were local again.
