"The customer service was excellent, which is what you would expect given the restaurant's target clientele. We utilized a private room for our gathering, which accommodated some additional guests without any issues. Overall, the experience and atmosphere were very enjoyable. Additionally, the waitress had a great rapport with our group. The food was delicious, prepared to a high standard, and served promptly. There were a few mistakes with the orders, but that's understandable given the size of our party. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is due to the slightly higher price point and the minor order errors. Otherwise, I was very pleased and will definitely return."

"We went for a Sunday afternoon roast. The service was great and the food was excellent. We had the private room which is lovely if you have a big group. It gives you that home away from home vibe. Food was slightly pricey, but staff were friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"Very poor would not even give it 1 star. The service was extremely poor we had booked a table for 6 for 4.15pm but did not get our table until nearly 5pm they said it was really busy but it really wasn’t. The Sunday lunch was the only menu available which was very limited, they had given us 5 different menus but did not tell us until we were ready to order that it was only the Sunday lunch one. 2 of us had starters which took sometime to arrive, the mains took even longer they had offered us extra sides but they brought the wrong ones. They got our drinks order wrong too. The food wasn’t too great either, the veg was luke warm I only had a teaspoon of mashed potato. In my opinion they do not have enough staff who appeared inexperienced. We will never go here again"

"I regularly go to Lara’s and usually receive good customer service. However, tonight the service was poor and the staff was awfully rude! Tonight I ordered my food and I clearly stated my sea bass to be with rice due to me being allergic to potatoes I repeated myself three times on the phone and the lady repeated it to me. My daughter in law collected the order and when I opened my food I had chips and my sea bass was overcooked. The Turkish bread was burnt and I hadn’t received my salad or sauce. My son and daughter in law also ordered mixed kebabs and they had 5 pieces of skinny meat and hardly any chips. I called the restaurant to see if they could do anything and the ‘manager’ was very rude telling me ‘’there is nothing she could do about it darling’’. She was very rude and proceed to call me a liar and continued to say I didn’t state what I wanted with my sea bass! I returned the food to the restaurant and the staff was very rude again! The man cooking the food told me his staff wasn’t rude and to lower my voice he chucked my money at me and told me to leave his shop. All I wanted was a apology not to be called a liar I will not be returning due to the poor customer service and quality of the food on my last few visits."

"On a recent business trip to Leicester I noted that the pub/restaurant attached to my chain hotel was rather uninspiring. Accordingly, I took advantage of the opportunity to indulge my love of curry at Sameeha. Not only was it local but also highly rated and recommended. Being a quiet Monday night I was a able to take my pick of the tables in the neat interior. I was delighted to discover that (a) the restaurant is unlicensed, and (b) they offer a midweek meal deal comprised of popadom chutney, starter, main and an accompaniment of rice or naan for the bargain price of £14.95. Having purchased a bottle of red from the adjacent off licence I tucked into my popadom and mixed starter, followed by a wonderful lamb dansak with a chilli garlic naan. The whole meal was glorious and served by courteous, smiling waiters who happily chatted to a couple who were clearly regular customers. All in all, this was a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended"
