the best fishing and chips are by far. we order a embarrassing amount of this place. delicious teig, good quality fish and good portions.

If you know your quality of food not up to standards, price should be less to attract more … It’s just grab no quality. Not happy had better

I come in on a Saturday as i usually do just had to mention how good the fish and chips is. My order usually comes around to £17 but sir harrys has earned every penny lovely manager and staff.

This place is about a minute away from the cricket ground. I ordered sausage and chips. The food was good quality, hot, fresh and tasty. It was also really reasonably priced, there were a number of specials on offer. The staff were friendly, quick and...efficient. Couldn't have asked for better. I'll be going back to try the rest of the menu!!

I have therefore had great hopes for the improvements of the former Mr. Sir harrys, as I had before. at the inspection I was beaten to see that there was a fish eyeball in the pickled onion crug. I was ready. letting this slide so that I breathed deeply and decided to put my proud side and order. I asked for good fish and chips. I waited about 20 minutes to be served. When I took my lunch, I asked what that was waiting for. mr. osborn jumped over the counter and struck my head. he said stings, not it, and then he smashed me through the glass and said and stay out i will never return!

i am a regular customer, but a few previous occasions when i have ordered medium cod and chips for £4.80 i have been given stale, burnt chips this is simply out of order they know exactly what they are doing but ignore it. and...on 2 occasions i have been given fake £5 notes from this store and each time the £5 was not given from the till, but the staff would go to the back (as if they are getting extra change) i was in a good mind in reporting this i am going to stop eating here, its disrespectful as a regular customer they think they can get away with it as most people won't say anything

I wanted 1 large fish and one mini fish however, they gave me two mediums for a large I was fine with that but when i got home turns out that the chief didn't want to cook anymore large fishes and has given me old...overcooked mediums to send me off sooner as the staff looked like they wanted to carry on chatting together. Also the lady who is working there for a long time a bit chubby was taking bits off customers food and eating it whilst making it I have not seen anything more disgusting surprised as to why she is still working there. When she wrapped up my food it seemed to me as in another language she was cursing me or another customer under her breath when i got home I threw everythin...

what can I say that I have been living here for 12 years and watched the steady decline of sir harry’s Chippy corner, which only introduces cash in the whole business and serves them absolute filth! so a few months ago island house took over and it was new and very fresh and until today I could not mistake it. although I will say the prices would show that we also paid for the refit! my biggest grip of sir harry’s was that the kebab meat was always pre-cut, then put in pots to go all dry and hard and island hat did not do that at the beginning, but guess what it is with a revenge back. we don't want us to get on the way. it's bad enough if that's getting dry, but to lammdon all dry and actua...
