a drink, nice little bar with atmosphere, although we didn't eat, it looked nice to eat with largish portions.

This charming, historic public house is full of character and has a wonderful staff. It's also dog-friendly, which is a big plus. The walk to the village and the coast is definitely worth it!

This could be a nice spot but beer and staff are a disgrace, I don’t normally leave reviews so that’s how strongly I feel about it. Ps didn’t finish drinks which is something we never have done before .

large pub with character loading, historical interieur, which is good for a afternoon pint. the personal is a little eccentric. we enjoyed playing the pub games. I agree with their rule not selling tee or coffee - it keeps the bar service too much

I ordered a pint of Grapefruit IPA, but it smelled unpleasant and tasted off. When I spoke to a young blonde staff member about it, she mentioned that they had been selling that beer all day but also noted that they had just installed a new keg. The staff didn't feel the need to check my drink and insisted it was fine. I decided to try another beer called Cosmic, but it tasted like it had crushed paracetamol mixed in. I ended up leaving both drinks untouched. As I left, the staff sarcastically thanked me. Overall, the place felt dark and dingy, and the quality of the ale was disappointing.

I just got home from a wonderful evening at Smugglers. My partner and I shared a delightful bottle of wine and definitely over-ordered! I enjoyed the spicy vegetable pizza while Hannah had the Margherita, and both were delicious. We also got a salad, fries, and some coleslaw, managing to eat most of it but leaving a bit behind. Thankfully, the leftover pizza was wrapped for us, and I will look forward to enjoying it for breakfast. The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic; it’s dark and cozy, making it the perfect spot to escape the brisk North Sea wind.
