"Booked for 8 pax on Friday night at 6pm. We brought our own wine and beer and the staff were most relaxed with us. They served us popadoms and sauce , very nice . We had 2 children also with us and they had kids meals with Ice Cream after . We booked starters and mains each along with various breads and rices etc. it was soooooo nice and we shall return soon . We ended up taking a doggie bag home . The place was busy but atmosphere was very nice however ."

Very tasty Korma, although extremely small portion size. We sat in. We got 5 pieces of small chicken. Extremely stingy and a massive let down.

Date night with the wife was very busy but to be expected on a Friday night. Service was brilliant was seated straight away. Had the sizzling starter which was terrific definitely recommend it .

I have just eaten at Solo's and had a very nice meal. The ingredients were very good quality I had King Prawns and they were plentiful and tasty. The service is very prompt and polite. Good parking Highly recommended.

My daughter and I have a Solos most Fridays. The food is always lovely. The service is fantastic, Mo is always great when he takes our order. The restaurant and take away, has been in Skelmanthorpe for a long time and long it may continue. Thoroughly recommend Solos. View menu

Beautifully made food with big portions we have been here a few times now and the liver starter is amazing and the garlic chilli chicken. It's bring your own alcohol too so keeps the bill down even though it's very good for money! Would recommend the staff are lovely too

Very bright lights, barely anyone eating (us and two other tables), no music playing and borderline cold. Starters not too bad but pickle tray came with just raita. Was expecting mango chutney, lime pickle and onion/tomato. One main was served in an actual frying pan on a wooden board which was a bit odd and the handle just kept getting in the way. None of the food was particularly hot either. Bit disappointing. Oh and they only take cash…
