Solstice Grill - Menu

We spent one night at the Holiday Inn and by the time we checked in, was quite late.

Great meal and service and a very pleasant evening. Good value too. Recommend it as a stop off and probably the best place to eat in Solstice park

Nice waiter but although it was a very quiet lunchtime it was a very long wait for our meals. We all ordered ice-cream for dessert and this took ages to come

The restaurant has a friendly staff and a menu that includes a wide variety of options. The portions were generous, and the service was better than average. The prices for both food and drinks were reasonable.

When we arrived at the restaurant, it wasn't very busy, which was nice for our girlie catch up. I really enjoyed my meal, the chicken club sandwich was delicious but very filling, I could only eat half and took the rest home. The lemon tart was also very tasty. However, my friend wasn't impressed with her Mac and cheese, finding it too dry to finish, but she did enjoy the Crème brulee. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant as I have always had a good meal here and find it reasonably priced. View menu

My friend booked for us to eat here, when we arrived 13:00 I was surprised to see it was nearly empty.... Should have given me a clue, afraid to say this place is not as it was!! 23 Dec and yet there was no Christmas menu and don't do cocktails or even a martini!? Not very much of a choice: I had a chicken club sandwich and my friend had a chicken ciabatta. They were ok but nothing that was great. Under impressed, we decided to go somewhere else for a drink and dessert and hopefully some Christmas spirit. Not sure I'll be back if I'm honest.

After not going there for may years we decided to try it again which was well worth doing. We certainly will be back twice a month. The service was brilliant and the waitress and manager were very helpful. We also felt very relaxed there. The quality of the food and the size of the portion's was perfect for us. As for price. You only get what you pay for so must expect to pay more that the cheaper options like Table Table, however you would immediately notice how much better the quality and service is. A good example is that when we asked for tomato ketchup it was brought to us on a stearate plate whereas the lower quality establishments just give you a small amount in a dish, assuming they...

We have eaten several times before though only soup and sandwiches which were good. This time we decided to have Sunday Lunch. There 's no special Sunday Lunch menu and we were uninspired by what was there. My wife opted for scampi chips. The scampi was parcels of a fishy paste. The chips were chip-shaped pieces of what tasted like powdered mash. I asked for nachos etc with pulled pork. The pulled pork looked like regurgitated paste or perhaps baby-food.
