"4 people booked for dinner. requested a 5th but not a space as booked to capacity, but sat beside 3 empty tables during the meal. A plum cocktail and an asahi beer from the drinks menu ordered, but not in the position to make the cocktail as one of the spirits is not available. the asahi had run out. had planted wine instead of it was delicious! I ordered a couple of teller foods to get started. the sushi was amazingly tasty as an explosion of joy in her mouth, the taste buds that they did not know they had. I wanted to order more food, but was informed that the restaurant had run out of rice. there were 5 more outliers since we last ordered and they received the last. a sushi restaurant without rice feels a bit like a pub without beer or a chippie without chips. we were absolutely shocked. I will give soyokaze 3 stars because while they were eating and running, what we did was an absolute joy and our waitress was excellent in the handling, which was a really embarrassing situation. I would definitely come back for more sushi, but would book an earlier slot to dinner next time!"
