Chicken tikka masala tasted a bit like the sauce from spaghetti hoops All 3 curry’s tasted pretty much the same: Garlic chilli chicken, just extra garlic, certainly not hot spicy Chicken dhansak, just added lentils, certainly not sweet, sour hot Chicken madras certainly not hot. The only thing with spice and heat were the samosa’s, very nice. I have to say the 3 different naan breads we ordered were all lovely. They may be catering for the masses but don’t expect authentic Indian food because it’s not! Sorry Spices very disappointing!"

Beautifully prepared meal, as good as Edinburgh’s best and we have some very good Indian restaurants. Sat on the terrace watching the sun go down on Frigiliana. Aubergine pakora, fish pakora, followed by chicken biryani, vegetable dhansak, garlic naan washed down with rose wine cobras. Highly recommend! View menu

We have been to the village many times over the years and didn't know this wee gem was there! We chose it for a family birthday celebration and it didn't disappoint. The food was fabulous and the service unbeatable (big thanks to Pauline) and very reasonably priced. So good that we went back a few nights later to repeat the experience.

We were greeted with a very friendly waiter and seated in their outdoor patio. The food was just perfect. My husband and I ordered a few dishes to share, the potato and cauliflower dish, a lentil dahl along with a vegetable rice dish. We will definitely go back tomorrow. The flavor was spot on. The owner and chef, Abdul, came out and we chatted with him for about 20 minutes. He and his wife are the friendliest people! They also have vegetarian and vegan choices on their menu.
