The place is very beautiful. The staff is very friendly! The beef steak that I had was fantastic! Although I went there Wednesday it was full of people. I guess there is a need of booking table for Friday and Saturday

Enjoyed a pasta dish for lunch here with great pleasure. Lively little place with a lot of customers. Like most places in Germany, they don't take credit cards, but was very easy to pay with paper as well. All in all, friendly staff and fun place with an enormous menu.

In Stoßzeiten ist es immer sehr voll, einen Sitzplatz zu finden ist dann nicht immer sicher. Selbst jetzt im Sommer, wo man ja auch draußen sitzen kann. Besonders zu empfehlen: das Frühstück und die nette Bedienung. Und bald ist ja auch die Baustelle in der Wagnergasse Geschichte: das wird schön!

Big offer different kind of food. Not specialized but with a German touch. Good prices and good quality. I took the Jena pan, recommended by the chef and was very good with pork, potatoes, and onions and sauerkraut. Little bit big The spinach pan was...not very good. Some white wines. I tried the locals from weimar but were too soft

In a quiet paved street close to the Jena Tower, this barrestaurant is always crowded. Prepare to wait or to sit at the bar. But then you'll have the privilege to get nice potatobased dishes served in frying pans, full of flavor and... potatoes. Draft...beers, friendly service and reasonable prices make this a true Thuringian experience

Die Speisen sind gehobener Durchschnitt und preiswert...Wir hatten heute einen Kellner, der sehr nett, aufmerksam und bemüht war... weiter so!!Seine Kollegin...blond, mittellange Haare... die dann das Essen brachte, könnte sich so einiges von diesem Kollegen abschauen...Blickkontakt oder gar ein Lächeln sind in diesem Metier durchaus gestattet...:)

In here for dinner with people that we were seeing for work. The place has a great feel about it. Speed over floors and busy. Needed to be booked a week ahead of time apparently. Would definitely recommend and will visit next time I...stay in Jena. We mostly opted for the 'Hot Pans' all of which were well received. Good beers and wines, and a great waitress
