"I am not very familiar with Thai cuisine, but I decided to try some Thai curries for the first time and I absolutely loved it. Our group had made a reservation beforehand, and we had a Thai friend with us who helped us order the best dishes on the menu and communicate with the staff. The staff was very kind and attentive. We tried the coconut rice and egg rice, both of which were delicious. The green and red Thai curries were particularly outstanding. Although the spring rolls were not Thai, they were still enjoyed by all. The freshly squeezed juices were a hit with everyone. My personal favorite was the stir-fried duck with tamarind sauce, it was incredibly tasty. The desserts were superb and enough to bring me back just for them. We had some amazing treats, although I cannot recall their names. Overall, the Thai restaurant left a lasting impression and I will definitely be returning."

Very bad and rude service. They keep charging for staying over 2 hours and don't let you take with you food that left on your plate unless you pay extra for it. Isn't it supposed to be thrown away at the end?

This was my first visit to Taste of Siam. I only had a quick lunch so I can't provide a detailed review, but the restaurant was recommended by a friend. I tried the pad thai which was delicious and fresh. I also had a Thai iced tea which was wonderful - creamy, sweet but not overpowering. I will likely return to this restaurant.

possibly the rudest restaurant I have ever visited with the badly seductive waiting staff. eating was at best average. the only plus was that the service was so bad, it was quite funny; but I would not recommend the restaurant or the food, unless they are desperate. the nagel in the sarg was the 25% tip that the servier staff itself gave on the bill. avoid them! This restaurant is a bit of a letdown and on the pricier side - plus, it helps if you can speak Korean. The food at this location is just okay, nothing outstanding or terrible, just average. The portion sizes are average, although they seem on the smaller side to me. The prices are also average. Considering that it's situated in London's 2nd zone and doesn't have a nice or upscale appearance, Taste of Siam doesn't offer the best value. In my opinion, the prices can be considered high for the average quality, especially when compared to other options. This specific branch on Camden High Street offers a set menu for a fixed price.

avoid them! worse service and ever eat! still today a chance and what a mistake! this restaurant works without management and the workers unrest shows it! an aggressive atmospheric waitress took our job, which I was able to let go at that time. When my food came, I decided to give it back. I spoke to the friendly, looking waitress and what a mistake. she started to pull her face and fight with me. When I asked to order something else, she muttered the menu on the counter. So I returned to my table and was ignored for the next 40 minutes, while my friends finished their meal and I sat with only one drink in front of me, not eating. I...read more

Camden has so many great eateries (from restaurants to kiosks) that the highlight of each trip of mine there is food On one such sojourn, I went to the Taste of Siam. It's a tiny place, which may feel cramped on weekends, but cheerful and very cafe-ish Recommended: Prawn and pork dumpling for starters, Pad Thai for mains (you'd love it) and Thai Iced Tea (I had to double the order of this one, it was so refreshing and tasty Overall food is flavorsome and portions are good Price We paid 20 among 2 with beverages They also have an option of cooking your own hot-pot (recommended if you have 2 or more people with you) for only 12.50 per head. Sounds good to me, I shall try it...read more View menu

It had been a while since my friend and I had been out for Thai food and we were kind of missing it. So we took it for a sign when we were supposed to go out for Greek food and the restaurant could not take us as they were fully booked for a private party. Taste of Siam has three parts: one is the supermarket, second is the restaurant and the third is the noodle bar cafe. We were pleased that we chose the lovely restaurant. It seemed like a nicer setting than the informal cafe. The food is cooked fresh and the quality of ingredients is high. As my friend pointed out, we should have expected this, seen as Taste of Siam’s shop next door has good produce. It felt like a cold day and...read more

Not often am I motivated to write a review, less a negative one, but my experience of Taste of Siam has been so poor that I have to leave comment. To summarise the food is mediocre at best and the service non existent, but I think that neither of these things are the priority at Taste of Siam. What you have here is the only Thai restaurant at the Mornington Crescent end of Camden and therefore the only possible choice for someone looking to eat Thai at that end of Camden. This is the 1970's school canteen of Thai food. We ordered some starters, soups, main dishes and rice, vegetables. When I asked for the soups and a starters first the waitress became confused and in the end just...read more
