I love this place from his quirky, 80's lounge interieur to his amazing eating. bit off the beaten track in some way, but its a beautiful running gear as well.

we received a friendly reception when we arrived. our food was delicious, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. the chicken massaman curry is the best we ever tasted.

As someone from Thailand, I can be very fussy about eating at Thai restaurants. However, I highly recommend Thai Lounge. Very authentic and flavourful food, and well presented. Not to be compared to the other Thai chain restaurants, this place is a class above. View menu

We have been for many meals and had many takeaways from the Thai Lounge. We ordered 'our usual ' and the quality was better than we had remembered. Service was brilliant and the staff remain very caring about everyhting they do. Thank you team and keep up the great work :

was over night at travelodge 2miles above the street saw the restaurant on the way to the hotel decided to go there. so glad that I and my partner thought that the restaurant looked beautiful inside, the eating was absolutely delicious, good size portion. the personal was great. very recommended warns too bad. 2 drinks starter 2 main and tipp £50

We often visit our daughter and son-in-law who live nearby. We always order takeout from this restaurant in the evening. Last night's meal was excellent, as always. The food quality is top-notch and we are never disappointed. The staff is friendly, although we missed Mr. Moon, the owner, who is always welcoming. We highly recommend this establishment. View menu

Have dined there a few times and it was always very good, if pricy. However, because of Covid, meaning the restaurant was closed, we decided to have a takeaway for my birthday. Not the same at all and all I can say is that their food does not travel well!!!! In fact I picked up a generally cold unattractive mess. The chicken satay and the noodles heated up well, but most of the rest was greasy, stodgy and unappealing if tasty. Will definitely go again when we are allowed back in the restaurant but no more take aways!!! Shame.

We were delighted to hear that our favourite Thai Lounge re opened after lockdown and decided to celebrate with a takeaway as I am not yet allowed out.How disappointed we were! I have no idea when our food was cooked but it was certainly not recently! My Thai Lounge Pad Thai was a solid brown lump of noodles and the king prawns were so overcooked as to be uneatable. My husband fared no better. His Gai Pau Chilli Basil was the same the noodles were a solid brown crust at the bottom and the chicken like cardboard. After visiting multiple times in the past we were very disappointed to visit during 'Eat out to help out '. They were obviously overbooking and didn 't even care for our reservation name when we turned up. Had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated and then after being placed outside with a darkening sky we still weren 't served for another 40 minutes (not even for drinks . After finally being served I asked to be moved inside as I couldn 't see my partner let alone any food that may turn up.
