We have been for many meals and had many takeaways from the Thai Lounge. We ordered 'our usual ' and the quality was better than we had remembered. Service was brilliant and the staff remain very caring about everyhting they do. Thank you team and keep up the great work :

I had never been to this restaurant before, but I think it's a lovely space and I would enjoy dining outside when the weather is warmer. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Although it wasn't cheap, I don't mind paying more for quality food and service. The prices are similar to other Thai restaurants.

We often visit our daughter and son-in-law who live nearby. We always order takeout from this restaurant in the evening. Last night's meal was excellent, as always. The food quality is top-notch and we are never disappointed. The staff is friendly, although we missed Mr. Moon, the owner, who is always welcoming. We highly recommend this establishment.

Have dined there a few times and it was always very good, if pricy. However, because of Covid, meaning the restaurant was closed, we decided to have a takeaway for my birthday. Not the same at all and all I can say is that their food does not travel well!!!! In fact I picked up a generally cold unattractive mess. The chicken satay and the noodles heated up well, but most of the rest was greasy, stodgy and unappealing if tasty. Will definitely go again when we are allowed back in the restaurant but no more take aways!!! Shame.

The standard menu has gf options marked. We discussed cross contamination with the staff who confirmed they have a separate fryer for gf food and clean all utensils before cooking gf dishes. All food is made fresh on the premises, so they were very willing to adapt dishes. Several meals had a choice of type of meat or vegetables I enjoyed a very tasty gf penang curry. There isn't a children's menu, but they were able to adapt a recipe for them, though bear in mind that most the dishes are rice/egg noodles or rice, rather than more traditional chicken nuggets chips etc that you might see elsewhere. Great service!

We were delighted to hear that our favourite Thai Lounge re opened after lockdown and decided to celebrate with a takeaway as I am not yet allowed out.How disappointed we were! I have no idea when our food was cooked but it was certainly not recently! My Thai Lounge Pad Thai was a solid brown lump of noodles and the king prawns were so overcooked as to be uneatable. My husband fared no better. His Gai Pau Chilli Basil was the same the noodles were a solid brown crust at the bottom and the chicken like cardboard. After visiting multiple times in the past we were very disappointed to visit during 'Eat out to help out '. They were obviously overbooking and didn 't even care for our reservation name when we turned up. Had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated and then after being placed outside with a darkening sky we still weren 't served for another 40 minutes (not even for drinks . After finally being served I asked to be moved inside as I couldn 't see my partner let alone any food that may turn up. We arrived at 20:30, got seated at 20:45 waited over 1h30 for our STARTERS, the mains came approx 30 mins later. Starters were OK. My main had egg shell in for whatever reason considering there was no egg in the dish! They offered to take it back but I refused considering I was so tired and starving and didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes! We left the restaurant at 23:30 after arriving at 20:30 (see receipt for proof) There were 4 waiters serving approximately 30/40 tables including outside seating. Not following the social distancing.
