"This place is a hidden gem and a regular for us. Busy or quiet, day or night, the service and food are exquisite! The team make you feel welcome and are super attentive, decor is cosy and beautiful, food is out of this world... always served fresh and piping hot. Due to its location the pub is very quiet on a weekday and we sometimes dine alone which is a real treat, quiet and intimate. But even on a busy night the tables are spaced well apart and it's not terribly noisy. I haven't yet left this place without feeling like I might explode as the portions are very generous but it's so tasty that we just can't stop eating! Positives everything. Negatives need bigger trousers."

what a nice warm greeting we have yesterday evening a good band of us with a few oldtimer for a pint n food, the personal was on the ball for us eating was top notch, since we all were out they were not enough for us all well made the allerford inn 5*

Wasn't sure what to expect but was very surprised. The menu isn't much to look, no fancy dishes but a closer look shows thought goes into those dishes and what they cook was cook very well and tasted like it was cook fresh. They were also bigger portion. All in all us as a family came away smiling. Well done chef and staff

Came with a party of five and all of our food was delicious and service was fantastic. There was a bit of a wait for food but we were advised of this upon entering which was great. The views surrounding the pub are beautiful, we didn't sit out there but the garden looks like it would be wonderful to sit out on for lunch or a warmer evening!

WOW ... what a hidden treasure! Heard of this place and booking online was simple. Easy to find and plenty of parking. The place was stunning, plenty of room and relaxing atmosphere. This was our first visit and omg we wasn't disappointed, the carvery was to die for, tender meat, roasties cooked to perfection and dessert didn't disappoint either. We can happily say this was the best carvery we have ever had. The staff were friendly and attentive, lovely little place, the bottle of prosecco on the house to celebrate our wedding yesterday was a lovely touch so a big thank you to the Allerford team for making it a memorable trip for us on our honeymoon. We highly recommend the Allerford 10/10
