"Called here early evening Saturday 9/11/24. Just for drinks. Very impressed with service, quality of drinks and prices of drinks all very reasonable. Was made to feel welcome. Prices are lower than most pubs for premium lager. Young woman, Casie, tending the bar was a delight. Landlord helpful. Woodburner was lit giving warm atmosphere. Always a great place for either a nice family meal or just a quick drink. They have a restaurant and bar with juke box and pool table with a beer garden it is a good all rounder pub View menu

Took the family to this restaurant for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. The meal was of a high standard and very generous. Staff are welcoming and very pleasant look forward to returning.

Inflation aside this place has gone pretty expensive especially considering it's Caerphilly, not Cardiff Bay! £17 for a chicken burger (festive) that's not even real chicken, just processed chicken (supermarket job basically).
