The food was amazing, the staff very nice, the service was excellent, the restaurant was really clean and the meal was very good value. We can’t wait to return ????

Staff were attentive without being intrusive and it was a very enjoyable lunch out. When we went to the restaurant a couple of years ago we were very disappointed with service and food but now what a difference!

nice eating, wonderful staff, service a little slow, but quite busy in the restaurant. they send me deals to book in their restaurants, but I am never able to use them, they could send a real offer for my next booking.

Loved the newly refurbished Appletree. The staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive. The food was very good . Going back on Friday evening! The only minor criticism would be the beetroot in the vegetable selection, too hard and not what I would like to eat with a Sunday roast.

I had a wonderful experience. The service wasn’t rushed, allowing us to enjoy our meal thoroughly. The food was excellent, and the tables were nicely spaced apart, providing a comfortable atmosphere. A warm welcome when we arrived, we were given a choice of table so chose one next to a window, the light was subdued and although at first the music sounded loud, it faded into the back ground. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, giving us the right time between courses. We chose the lamb which was delicious, the mint sauce was made with fresh mint. Yum. I chose the passion fruit martini cocktail, beautifully presented and so tasty. Desert was the passion fruit martini Eton mess, you could really taste the passion fruit martini. Everything was a delight. Will be going back again.

Have eaten here a number of times and the service has always been excellent. Today we were incredibly disappointed. No acknowledgement when arrived, the waitress needed a bit more about her. Bare minimum service and very slow. No real personality to any of the staff, felt like they were just going through the motions! Very disappointed . All the staff need to get a sense of urgency and ability to make guest feel welcome. Restaurant speakers were way too loud where we were sitting. So could hardly hear each other. Also staff should be made aware children’s meals really should be brought to the table before the adults. Our 4 year old was really hungry and had to wait until last to get her food...

Our visit was quite disappointing. My dish was billed as a "dee pizza," but it turned out to be a tasteless, chewy base topped with sweet salad, an excessive amount of hoisin sauce, and a tiny amount of duck. There was no cheese or tomato! Overall, the dish was unappetizing and not fit to eat. My wife ordered halloumi, but hers was also nearly flavorless. Our guest had a duck salad and said she was satisfied with it. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu, which was again bland. While the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and the service was excellent, I was not charged for my inedible pizza, most of which I couldn't eat.
