"when we were in rocklands last night, which is on the road, we had come to a meal. the personal was welcoming and extremely chatting, we sat near the fire that was perfect for a cool December night. they have a great choice of drinks and dips. we decided to lasagne and burger. both meals were homemade and delicious, even if a little filling (huge portions.) we managed to share a dessert, although that was just as delicious. would reappear if in the opposite."

I highly recommend this charming little pub! I loved the selection of 73 gins available. The food was excellent, ranging from a classic menu to some delicious specialties. The staff were very friendly, and I will definitely be returning! View menu

Visited this pub for the first time this evening whilst enjoying a few days holiday in Yorkshire. Very authentic village pub, great food, and really friendly staff. A range of specials in addition to the main menu. Brilliant, well worth a visit.

Just got back after having a delicious meal at this pub. I had the risotto and sea bass it was cooked to perfection. My other half had the belly pork which he scored as 10 out of 10. Unusual for him as he normally finds something to complain about

We had a fantastic meal at The Buck. The steak pie was incredible, and my partner enjoyed the big boy burger, which was also delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, and both the staff and the owner were really friendly. I would recommend The Buck to everyone at any time! View menu

Nobody ever get full marks from me but I could make an exception for the Buck. Service is pleasant and inobtrusive and the food is first class with a varied menu at reasonable cost. Definitely worth another visit when caravan is at Keld Knowle farm over the road. (Also excellent)

We visited The Buck Inn as we were staying at Forest Holidays Cropton. Proper local pub run by lovely people, delicious food and a great music play list! Wish it had been a bit closer to Forest Holidays so I could have stayed for a few drinks but sadly I was driving, but don't let that put you off!
