"We popped in here for some dinner and wasn't expecting it to be as lovely inside. It was a Sunday afternoon, there was a wee jazz band playing and the place was lovely. Not busy at all. We had starter of soup of the day, which was just lovely. I could have eaten the whole pot. I then had chilli beef with rice, again it was lovely, not very spicy though. My husband had steak pie which he also said he really enjoyed. We finished off with Strawberries and meringue.. It was amazing... The staff were absolutely lovely, we didn't wait long for food and I don't have any complaints. Would definitely be back again.. The soup and dessert alone would bring me back. Lovely place!"

Lovely pub and food, service could be better but a lovely girl called Victoria single handled the place being on the floor herself and tried her best to get round all customers, Telfords very lucky to have her :

This place is now called Telfords. Went for dinner with friends and had a table booked for 7.30 on a Saturday night. Despite the place being half empty, they had no chicken or steak left!!! They only toms us this after serving us drinks. What a joke! I’ll never be back and I’d definitely advise anyone else to avoid.

Came for the beyond burgers which,at this point is the only plant based main course on the menu but they don't have any and only have bar snacks as an alternative. I understand that from next week they will have them back but for today we will have to find somewhere else to eat. Not the plan, which is disappointing as we like this place.

All the staff are lovely and the restaurant is extremely clean, cakes are great, never had a bad meal. However, My one fault is the TEA. I just wish they would lose the twinings. And please, please put the tea bag into the pot of freshly boiled water instead of putting it on the saucer. It drives me crazy every time.....aaaggghhhh!!!! Apart from that fabulous.

a nice pub with a decent selection of menu options, right over the street from the paisley canal station, so the name. it seems more to provide functions, a little from the center of paisley. several tables and an entire section were reserved when I came to lunch, but there was enough space. my smoked salmon soaking sandwich was beautiful, and the salat was very good, but I found the brot a little dry. the service was very fast. the prices were slightly steep for the pub grub, but the quality more or less justified. there is a lot of parking from the back, with ramp access from this side.

"Just wanted to write this review so that others may consider alternative venue when they are faced with the choice at a very difficult and sad time. This hotel gets plenty of business from nearby funeral directors I assume because of is location but they are uncompassionate, unprofessional and unconcerned about your experience. When we arrived after leaving the funeral directors to book the reception I stood waiting for a period of time to be attended to. Eventually an employee on his break went through and got a staff member. She had me stand at the reception, recite details showing no empathy for our situation, when booking my father in laws at the Seamill Hydro we were sat away from the reception and treated in a caring way. When we arrived at the time booked after the funeral we stood at the reception for a period of time before being shown through. No offer of condolences offered. As for the drinks on arrival, we waited a good 10 minutes before any orders taken missing out 4 guests. Eventually food came out slowly. We were given one coffee/tea and the staff left. We tried to find staff to see if we could have more coffee and order more drinks but staff found not be found. I had over estimated the number of people who attended but even though we paid for food for more people my guests were not offered anymore sandwiches, sausage rolls etc. When settling the bill I was of course charged for the food/drinks that never appeared and was not asked if everything was ok. A basic courtesies in the hospitality business. Please consider alternatives before booking here, it is easy money for them and they do not care n anyway about the customer. I contacted the Lynnhurst Hotel 3 days ago and unsurprisingly they have not responded."
