"I was particularly impressed by the Cavendish's unique offering, where you could get a combination of all three meats: beef, turkey, and ham—a rarity in most places. Everyone commented on how incredible the dishes were, and they truly tasted out of this world. The gravy was especially noteworthy; it was the best I can imagine, as if Gordon Ramsay himself had crafted it in the kitchen. The pizzas were made entirely in an authentic pizza oven, and they might have even had sourdough bases because the kids devoured them and raved about how awesome they were! We also indulged in desserts—my chocolate lava cake was divine, while the girls enjoyed a light and refreshing lemon tart (unfortunately, we didn’t take any photos of the mains because they disappeared so quickly!). The drinks were reasonably priced, and considering the quality of the food, this was definitely the best pub lunch we've had in a long time. Usually, there's something to complain about, whether it's grumpy staff or a gaudy atmosphere, but not here. This place has it all. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the menu, as it has quickly become a new favorite of ours!"

The food here is excellent! I highly recommend trying the market menu, especially during the week when you can order it before 5 o'clock for great value. We all enjoyed our meals, and the conservatory area is lovely. The beer garden is beautiful too—definitely worth a visit!

Our first visit to the restaurant was delightful! The menu offered a wonderful selection, and we wanted to try nearly everything. We decided to start with the shakers, which were lovely! For our main courses, we enjoyed the duo of lamb and the oriental surf and turf—both were delicious. We paired our meal with a beautiful glass of wine and some fine cask ale. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, everything was excellent, and we can't wait to come back!
